-Ollie's POV-
After Buster and I returned from the Academy, I rang Y/N and asked if she would stay with me at the Bean. This way it wouldn't happen again. She was showing me videos of cute dogs when I heard Scott talk to Buster.
"Hey, why don't they have cheerleaders at football matches?" he asked ambitiously.
"Where's this going?" asked Buster reluctantly.
Suddenly, Scott started wailing about, doing a cheerleader chant.
"Give us an 'S', give us a 'C'. It's a bit of promo for The Bean and a bit of totty for the lads. Is that sexist? Maybe I need to have a rethink. It's hard work, this sponsorship lark," Scott was about to walk away until Buster spoke up.
"Hey, leave it with me. I'm working on an idea that will promote this place, and the team," Buster stated.
I asked Y/N to go get me another drink as I gave her some money. I watched Scott go around and collect empty glasses.
Then he was in front of me. "I'm an expert at putting on a front, you know?" he told me.
"What?" I asked, confused.
"And it takes an expert to know one. You'd never normally snap at me like you did earlier,"
"I'm sorry," I apologised,
"I'm not looking for an apology, but Ollie? That black eye? Snapping at me earlier? What's going on?" he asked me.
I hesitated a little as I looked at Y/N at the counter.
"Look, what gets said in The Bean, stays in The Bean. It's a little known law here, okay?" he told me. I smiled slightly, then looked over at Buster. Was I gay? Maybe Brooke was right? Have I been lying about my feelings towards Y/N this whole time? Surely not?
"Well, it should be against the law to wear a shirt that loud," I joked.
"Are you saying it's too camp?!" he questioned.
"Well that's one word for it," I joked again.
"Ugh! Do you know, I think I liked you better when you were telling us to get lost!" he joked back.
This was my chance to ask him. "When did you-" I stopped, not sure whether to ask the question.
"No, go on," he encouraged me.
"When did you know you liked boys, and not girls?" I stammered a little, trying to keep quiet so Y/N wouldn't hear from the counter where she was still waiting for our drinks.
Scott place the tray down and sat the arm of a bench next to me.
"Ah, well, I suspected I knew when I was about 9, and I loved Mr Arkwright's Maths lessons, even though I hated maths. But then I really knew a couple of months later when my mate, Gaynor Golightly asked me if I fancied Britney, and I realised I didn't. I just loved her!" he explained to me.
"Are you feeling a little but confused?" he asked me.
"Well, I know I like girls, but-" I started, before he cut me off.
"Well, you know what? There you are! I was lucky really, because once I knew, I just...knew. But these are fluid times for kids your age, Ollie. Don't let anyone ever tell you who you are, okay? That's for you to know, and this place," he smiled, gesturing at The Bean.
"So you're probably not gay," he told me.
I looked at Buster again.
"But the thing is, I think I am." I told him.
Suddenly Y/N came over with the drinks, so I gestured for Scott to leave. Once he left, Y/N started questioning me.
"Why were you talking to Scott?" she asked.
"I was just getting some advice about how The Bean can promote the Academy," I lied to her.
She nodded before taking a sip of her drink.
