Past Nightmares

AN- There was a bit of confusion regarding Pteragon 's primary request involving the Null, so here's the original request

3rd Person POV

"Hey guys!" Jesse ran down the steps of the Order Hall to give Axel, Olivia, her brother, and Petra a hug since they had returned from their hometowns and adventure.

"I can't wait to get this camping trip started." Axel punched his fist to the air.

"Hold on buddy, I gotta finish packing my stuff before we can hit the road." Jesse stopped Axel as he was about to run off toward the gates.

"Aww alright..." Everyone went inside as Jesse ran around double-checking to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything for their camping trip out in the forest.

"I still think that we shouldn't do this. I heard there's a big storm that's supposed to be coming soon." Olivia told everyone nervously.

"Come on, lighten up Olivia." Axel patted her on the shoulder a bit too hard, "We're all finally together spending some quality friend time."

"Oh that reminds me, I invited our new friend to come camping with us." Jesse told them as she stuffed some food into her bag.

"Really?" Axel asked.

"Who?" Olivia questioned curiously.

"Hi everyone." Addie appeared out of a dark corner of the Order Hall and startled everyone except for Jesse and Lukas.

"Jeez, that never stops scaring me." Petra sheathed Ms. Butter after she had drawn her out defensively.

"I really gotta work on that." Addie admitted to herself before saying, "I just came to check on you guys to see if you're ready to go."

"I'm almost done, I just have this feeling like I'm forgetting something." Jesse tapped her fist to her forehead lightly to try to jog her memory.

"That's just your nerves talking if anything you might have overpacked." J gestured to his sister's bulging backpack.

"Alright, then we're ready to go."

"Then let's go already!" Axel whined impatiently while jogging in place.

"Let's hurry, or else Axel might blow a fuse." J joked as they all ran out while Jesse hesitated for a second thinking,

I swear I feel like I'm forgetting something... Oh well, it'll come to me later... and she ran off to catch up with her friends and brother.

Time Skip to Camp Ground

"This place is nice." Addie dropped her backpack onto the green grass and held out her arms as she inhaled the scents of the flower field nearby.

"Come on, we gotta pitch up the tents and gather some wood for the fire before it gets dark." Petra told her as she and the others pitched up their individual tents dyed to be their colors in the Order.

"Where's your tent?" Olivia asked Addie as she finished pitching her red tent up.

"Three words. Starry night sky."

"You can't be serious, you're gonna freeze if you don't pitch up a tent."

"I spent 273 years on an island in the middle of the ocean, I don't get cold." Addie smiled ruefully as she went off to the flower field and lay down with her eyes closed in the middle of the sunflowers.

"Eh, you tried." Axel piped up as he straightened out his green tent and went to work gathering wood stumps for the fire.
