"Now now Ashley, don't get too feisty".
Nick was walking towards the girl, Ashley, with a calm expression on his face. "I am so sorry that my friend was causing you any trouble", he said turning to the lady at the cashier. We will be leaving now if you don't mind. "Leaving but-! For a brief moment, he looked at her. Ugh fine.. then she turned towards that lady, I'm sorry for shouting at you... As she turned back to make for the exit he stopped her. And what about the girl you almost spilled coffee on? I'm not saying sorry to that b- Ashley... He repeated. Ashley turned once again to face her. I am deeply sorry that I spilled coffee on you I was just so angry.. could you forgive me? It was a little creepy how she looked like an innocent little dog begging for mercy. Fine. I forgive you. Once again i am so sorry for the behavior of my friend we will be seeing ourselves out."
As Nick walked out she was dumbfound how she had never seen that girl before and why she was so mean.
And the fact that he didn't he use my real name, he surely knew right? I'm literally sitting beside him in our first class. Geez.
"Hey, Angel I think we should leave now" It was Rainy with her stuff. Thankful, she grabbed her half-eaten croissant.
"Excuse me, young lady"? Angel turned around. It was the cashier lady looking more closely at her she looked very weary and tired. "Thank you so much for protecting me I don't know what I would have done if I got hit especially since I don't have any powers myself. No problem I am also powerless to shying away for a moment she looked back at the lady. You know me and Angel can help around at the cafe every once in a while. not to offend you but you are looking very tired. its alright it is coming with old age but i can't have you do that while you are still in school you need to focus on your studies not worrying about a job that might take up more time than it should. It will be alright we will come when we want to and be happy to help out at any time. Rainy said with a smile. Thank you so much. I'll talk to my boss later but for now, I need to serve some of our customers. And with quick goodbyes, they left.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" Asked Rainy once they were at the girl dormitory. "Yep! See ya, I'm exhausted from today. Good night. Night", Replied rainy as they made their way to their dorms.
