The Unholy Triangle of Godt and Bas and Joss

Chapter 2

Joss' POV

Even as the hairstylist and makeup artist was working on me, I saw him enter the room from my peripheral vision. He was with the rest of his group. They were called SBFive and aside from being actors they were also entertainment artists and models just like me, except they were from a different agency.

I had been following their activities for a very long time now, especially the youngest in the group. His name is Bas.

I first fell hard for Bas when he started acting in Two Moons the series. While I was watching each episode, I wanted so bad to play the role of Phana to his Wayo but someone was luckier than me. That someone was Godt. I wondered if they fell in love with each other for real after the series, or maybe even during the series.

I had also been watching their fan meetings and even though I knew it was just fan service, I would always feel a twinge of jealousy every time they held hands or placed an arm around each other.

I really had to find a way to get to talk to him and know him better. And now the opportunity had presented itself. I wasn't going to let this opportunity pass.

After we all had our hair and makeup taken care of, we sat around waiting for our managers and the director of the show to give us the cue to start walking down the runway.

I kept glancing at Bas who was sitting by himself looking at his phone.

He happened to look up and caught me staring at him. I looked away feeling a bit shy and embarrassed at the same time.

When he caught me staring a third time, I decided to take the bull by the horn.

I walked leisurely towards him, trying to look nonchalant, even as my heart was pounding in a frenzy against my chest.

When I was near enough to get his attention, I stretched my hand towards him and said, "Hi, I believe we have not been introduced to each other by our managers. My name is Joss. Joss Wayar."

Please don't snub me, please don't snub me, I kept praying silently.

He smiled the most gorgeous smile that left me weak in the knees. He took my hand and shook it. "And I'm Bas, Bas Suradet."

I wondered if he had felt during the handshake that my hand was cold and clammy from nervousness.

I tried my best to make small talk with him and tried to get some personal information from him without sounding overeager. The most important information I gathered was that he did not have a girlfriend or boyfriend, his excuse being he had no time to have one because of his hectic work schedule.

I was going to prove to him that if he really wanted to have one, he would be able to find time for her or him, whichever way he swung.

I was successful in exchanging numbers with him before one of his group mates came and took him from me, as if he was trying to protect Bas from me. What the hell, I wasn't a wolf getting ready to devour him. Or was I?
