I look closely at my dad and Gavin. I look at my arms and my fingers.

"Why am I here?" I ask my dad. He sighs and moves himself and his chair closer to me.

"You had an overdose, Cas. We got a call two days ago from Nash saying that you wouldn't wake up. Then, a boy named Jack told us that you tried to kill yourself by taking a full bottle of pills. He told us that he tried to get it out of your system but...there were still pills in your system and your body couldn't take it.

"You almost died. Cassidy, why would you do this? I thought people stopped bullying you at school. That's what you wold us. Why would you still do this?" he finishes but I stay quiet. A few seconds later, a doctor walks in.

"Hello, miss. Cassidy. How are you feeling?" He asks me. He walks in front of my bed and looks down at me. I see my mum start to wake up and I feel the tears sting my eyes.

"Fine." I say.

"Alright, well, Mr. and Mrs. Waltz, I am going to keep Cassidy here for another day, but we are going to move her out of the ICU. I am recommending that you take her to a support group that my wife runs that helps teenagers like your daughter. You know, they just talk about things they have gone through and we have had a lot of successful cases." He explains.

"Well, what about the unsuccessful cases." I ask him. I feel my mums hand on my shoulder.

"Um, those few cases still end up going through with suicide. But that rarely happens." He smiles. He leaves the room and a few nurses come in and unhook me from all of the monitors.

They start to wheel the bed out of the room and soon I am exposed to everyone in the waiting room. I see my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, and Matthew. It's only him here. He stands when he sees me. They wheel me into an elevator before I can talk to him. We reach the second floor, from the third, and I get wheeled into a room that look exactly like the one I was just in. Just less...medical.

My parents come in with Gavin and my grandparents soon after. They only let five people in at a time, from my knowledge of when Gavin was here.

I say hello to my grandparents and we talk for a few minutes and then they leave. My aunt and uncle come in and we do the same.

"You should go to the support group." My mum says once they leave. I look at her as I press the button on my bed to lift my back up, so I am in a sitting position.

"Mum, I don't want to go." I tell her.

"Cassidy, it'll help you." She says sternly.

"I don't wa-" I say before she cuts me off.

"Cassidy, do you know how I felt when I was told you tried to commit suicide? I felt like the worst person in the world to have let my own daughter struggle through this sadness and me not doing anything about it." She says. "You're going." I sigh and close my eyes as I lean on the pillow. I open them when I hear my mum open the door and walk out. My dad follows and Gavin is left alone with me.

"Now you tried, huh?" He laughs. I smile as I hold his hand.

"Guess we are both screwed up, Gavin." I laugh. He smiled an his grip tightens.

"Now I know how you felt when you were told I was in the hospital." He says.

"Yeah, it doesn't feel too great." I tell him.

"Don't do this again, Cas. I can't live without you. You're an awesome sister and I love you." He says. I wrap my arm around him and give him a right squeeze.

"I love you too, Gavin." He stands up and, with his cane, leaves the room. Once he does, Matthew walks in.

He walks slowly to a chair to my right side. He sits down and sighs.
