Six months later
"You should come with us!" Danny almost yells as she tugs on my arm. I laugh as she stares at me with a begging expression.
"Fine! I will!" I laugh and she lets go of me.
"Yes! Okay, so, now it's going to be you, me, Matt, Carter, and Cameron. Shawn you need to come too." Danny says.
"I don't know. I hate the beach." Shawn says. I scoff and stand up from the couch. I pull out my phone and text Matthew.
Me: I guess I'm going to the beach now.
Matthew: Finally. You would've killed Danny if you said no.
Me: That's why I said yes :)
I'm excited to go to the beach. Danny came up with the idea for all of us to go about three days ago. We are going to stay there for two days. Cameron is going to bring two "super sized" tents, as he said.
Yesterday was another Magcon event. I went for the first time in seven months. The boys have gotten bigger. More people have been coming and more people have followed them.
My depression, you may ask, has gone away. I feel better. Ever since the venting I did with Matthew and Shawn. I feel happy now. I've stopped cutting. My anxiety is still with me but it's not as bad.
Graduation is in one month. I'm excited for Danny. I'll be sad that I won't get to see her at school but I know that I'll be talking to her all the time. Everything is falling into place.
"Cas, do you wanna go with us to the movie or do you and Matt have plans?" Danny asks me.
"Um, I'm going to Matthews house. I'll catch up with you guys later." I say with a smile. I walk out the door and make my way down the street. When I reach his house, I knock on the front door. Mrs. Espinosa opens it she lets me in.
"Matt is in the backyard." She tells me and I nod. I walk to the back of their house and open the door to the backyard. I see him sitting on a chair on his laptop. He looks up at me with a smile.
"Hey." He says with a smile. I smile back and sit down next to him. " you said yes to the beach thing?"
"Yeah." I laugh. He wraps an arm around me and I take a look at his laptop. It looks like he is editing a video. "Is that a video?" I ask.
"Yeah, I'm uploading it soon." He says as he reaches his hand into his pocket. He takes it out and a small, rectangular box is placed on his palm. "Also, happy birthday."
"I thought I said no presets?" I smile.
"Yeah but what's the fun in that?" He says. I take the box in my hands and open it. A long silver chain is revealed. At the end is a rather large than small spherical shape. Musical notes are engraved on it and pretty lines with flowers on the back. I take it and see that you can open it. When I do, a ticking clock appears. On the other side is a picture.
It was taken at a Magcon event. We are all in it. I loved that day.
"I was looking at another necklace but I knew that you'd get upset when you'd see it, since you didn't want me to sped money on you and it was very fancy." He explains.
"I love it." I say with a smile. I look at him and he wraps the chain around my neck. The locket itself reaches just below my chest. Shawn's necklace stops at my collar bone and my circular, black, "choke collar" almost touches my shoulder.
His lips touch mine and I sink into him. I love him.
