______________

Russia, South Korea, Canada and Japan trudged through the forest. Russia's anxiety got worse by the minute. When they reached the secret play house, all that was left of it were piles of rotting wood. But, it wasn't disappointing since there was a pair of footprints leading further into the woods. Russia immediately started following, Canada right behind him. When the two realized South Korea and Japan weren't following, They paused, glancing at each other. "What's up?" Canada called. They were both staring at something on the ground. South Korea shivered, gesturing the two come over to look at it. When Russia and Canada came over, they went silent.

"Isn't that..?" Japan's voice trailed off as she looked away, burying her face into her hands. "Wait, I thought you said his glasses were in the park?" South Korea looked up at Russia suspiciously. "They were..." He responded, looking confused. Canada coughed awkwardly. "Ehm, he carries more than one pair you know..." Everyone except Canada felt at least a little stupid at that moment.  "Sounds like something he'd do." Japan nodded. "C'mon guys, we don't have time for this. Lord knows what North Korea is doing to him." Russia sighed gustily, turning back to follow the footprints.

The other three immediately started following him, South Korea looking close to passing out while walking. As they continued walking, Japan started to notice his behavior. "South Korea~san doesn't look too well." She said, staring at him. "What... No I'm fine." He mumbled, opening his eyes widely to try and wake himself up a bit. Russia and Canada stopped, looking at him. "Maybe you should go home..." Canada suggested, patting his shoulder.

South Korea shook his head, attempting to look more awake. "Go home, we can handle it on our own." Russia sighed, rubbing his face in stress. Japan looked behind them and frowned. "I'll go with him to make sure nothing happens..." She said, turning back to them. Nodding, Russia turned to continue, Canada following close behind. Japan started leading South Korea away, who looked upset for being told to go home. "I'm not that tired."

~Later~

America struggled to stay awake. He could see dawn light start to shine above the trees. His headache had gone away thankfully, but he was still cold, scared and exhausted. Starting to grow restless, he stood shakily. Looking around, he sighed. He'd hoped the sunlight would've shown some sort of building, but there was nothing but trees and snow for as far as he could see. Teeth chattering he started walking, back the way he came. 'This place has to end somewhere...' He thought. As America, kept walking, he thought he could hear voices. His friend's voice. He paused, looking around hopefully.

"Hello?!" He called out, hoping they'd hear him. When the voices stopped, he rubbed his head. 'Shit, I'm going insane.'  After the thought went through his head, he laughed. Soon, it had turned into a sob as he leaned against a tree. He stayed there, quieting down as he regained his dignity, he stood up straight and continued walking. As the sun rose higher in the sky, his hopes sunk. America had already passed the area he'd woken up at and was shakily making his way through the thick layers of snow on the ground.

He'd tried looking around for another person's footsteps, but had only seen his. It confused him, seeing as he hadn't been unconscious for long and someone had to have dragged him there. 'It wasn't aliens, that's for fucking sure.'  He thought sarcastically. Continuing, he felt his eye lids growing heavy. He knew if he fell asleep, he could possibly freeze to death in his sleep. So, he kept going, praying that he'd reach the end of the forest soon. Or at least somewhere warm.

~Meanwhile~

Russia looked up at the sun with a frown. He hoped America was alright. Not knowing about his whereabouts and current health state was crushing him. As him and Canada were making their way through the forest, they heard someone yell in the distance. "Think that could be him?" Canada asked, staring in the direction they'd heard it from. "It kind of sounded like him. Let's check it out anyways."

Russia started walking towards the source of the yelling. "Wait, what if it's a trap?" Canada said as he caught up to him. Russia paused, looking at him. "Even if it was, I think we could handle it. Besides, America could be in danger, so I don't really think it matters." When Canada nodded, they continued. "God, everything looks the same." Russia huffed, looking at the trees towering above him.

Canada grunted in reply, pulling out his phone to find multiple texts from Aussie, Kiwi and his father. "Shit..." He muttered, calling UK. Russia looked back and frowned.

UK - "Where are you and America?"

Canada - "I'm out with Russia looking for him. We think he got... uhm... kidnapped?"

UK - "If your joking it isn't funny."

Canada - "I'm not. Now, I'll call back if we need help bye."

Canada hung up before his father could speak another word and shoved his phone into his pocket. "Yeesh, that's rough." A voice said behind them. Both countries spun around to see North Korea standing there, a scarf in his hand. "Where is he?" Russia demanded, gritting his teeth furiously. North Korea frowned, putting the scarf into his pocket. "I thought you two found him. He wasn't where I left him." He simply shrugged. Russia was just about to rush at him when Canada grabbed his sleeve, nodding to something in his other pocket. Looking over, he saw the handle of a small pistol peeking out.

"He has America's scarf." Canada mumbled, only audible to Russia. "Well, since you apparently have no idea where he is," He huffed, pulling out the gun and pointing it at Canada, "You should get going. Before things get messy."
