Alexis began opening the window and Benjamin lent down under the bed and emerged with a large back rope that had been attached to the floor on one end. He threw it out the window and Alexis began to step out and climb down it. "Why can we never just take the stairs?" Benjamin asked as he began to climb out of the three story window. "Because, if my mother knew where we were going or one of the servants see me leave, I will be grounded until I die, which would probably be 3days. Also this is fun, and I'm getting rather good at doing some trick landings, like...." Alexis answered as she began to wind herself up in the middle of the rope, once she was finished she let go with her hands and began flipping and turning in the rope. Suddenly she was flicked out and she landed (with one cautious flip) on her feet and bowed to Benjamin who was still climbing down the rope. "You are going to die one day doing that Alexis" he said. "But I can and will, always live each day like I will die the next" Alexis answered as Benjamin reached the end of the rope. "You know." Alexis said taking a sarcastic pose and pointing at the large black rope that stood out against the yellowish white walls of the manor "I think this might be a dead giveaway that we snuck out"

"You think?!" Benjamin said as he began towards the back gate.

The back gate was hidden behind a black rose bush. At the base of the rose bush Alexis had put a rather large piece of pipe and in front of it, she had pushed some of the branches of the rose bush so when they grew they would cover the pipe. Carefully she pulled back some of the branches and gestured for Benjamin to go first. He began climbing through the pipe, when he reached the end Alexis began to enter, checking behind herself before going. At the end of the pipe, there was a small patch of grass with a small bench made from stone with a fancy pattern on the back board. The small grass patch was surrounded half by black rose bushes and half by a yellowish white cement wall, the same colour as the manor. In the middle of the cement wall was a metal gate, made from small bars of metal that where held up by a gate frame, it was rusted in some parts with a large lock in the middle on the right hand side. Alexis walked over to the bench and started pulling it over to the cement wall. From there she stepped onto the bench and then climbed over the wall.

Benjamin walked over to the gate pushed it open and walked out. Looking up at Alexis as she began to step of the wall. "Normal people take the gate Alexis" he said as she hit the ground and stared at him. "Benjamin" she said placing a hand on his shoulder and then continued "normal people are boring" she took her hand of his shoulder as she walked past him. They began walking down a small path until they reached the road. They then walked and walked until they reached the gate of the house that no one talked about.

Slowly Alexis and Benjamin walked up the path to the front door. The house had black pealing paint that was coated in dirt, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in centuries. There was a broken metal table and an old metal chair, both rusting away to dust. The house looked like a sad memory, all dark and dreary like no one had ever love it and never would. It was heart breaking that a house that was once so beautiful was no longer.

"So, what happened to it" Alexis asked as she looked at Benjamin who was timidly standing behind her hopping that they could soon leave.

"It's a long story" he said, he took in a deep breath and then continued, "there was once a family if 6 living here, the youngest, was a girl of about 5 years old. The tale goes, that she.....murdered them, but told everyone it was the mirror, that a person came through and killed them, then when the police tried to help her she killed them and then her last murder was herself. No one wants to be here because of her, they are afraid she will come back as a ghost and kill them." Benjamin was so clear in his words as if he was speaking out his life to an audience of hundreds.

"Doesn't bother me, still want to have a little look around" Alexis said as she began prying open the door.
