I FELT ARMS WRAP AROUND my waist, as I started waking up. I cracked my eyes open to see tan arms resting on my stomach. I looked over to my left and was reminded that Jacob spent the night. I smiled softly before relaxing back into his arms, easily getting cozy.

It wasn't long before a knock came onto my door, making me almost jump, thinking that Dad was coming in. I sighed a breath of relief as I realized that it was locked. "Yeah?" I called.

"Jules, I'm heading down to the station," he called back.

"Okay, be safe, " I answered. I relaxed as I heard his footsteps walk away from my door, relaxing into Jacob's arms again.

"That wasn't how I typically want to wake up," Jacob mumbled into my shoulder.

I laughed softly. "I think he's just worried that I'll run off too-- Bella's got him on high alert."

Jacob huffed. He tightened his arms around me, pulling me closer to his chest. "I wouldn't let that happen, unless it was with me."

I rolled my eyes, patting his arm. "Alright, Romeo." I heard him playfully growl, but I just laughed him off. "Come on, we should get ready for the day."

At my movements, Jacob tightened his grip, not so much that it would hurt me, just enough to make sure I didn't escape his hold. "I'm not ready."

"Jacob, your dad's probably wondering where you are," I pushed on his arms, to try and weasel my way out, but it was no use.

"I told him where I was before I left," his smart reply came.

I huffed as I relaxed my struggle, making Jacob smile and sigh with relief. He snuggled his head into my shoulder blades, making me smile gently. "Fine, 5 more minutes."

5 minutes quickly turned into another hour before I woke up again. This time, it was to a wolf howling in the distance that woke Jacob and I from our light slumber.

"Damn," Jacob sighed, running his hands through his cropped hair. His stopped at the ends, almost like his forgot he cut it off before dropping his hand.
