I GASPED AS I WOKE UP suddenly, my hand immediately reaching out towards Jacob, who woke up the same time I did; most likely from my sudden movement. He was quick to run his fingers through my hair, waiting until I finished catching my breath to ask what happened.

I just shook my head at his question, trying to forget about the deep red eyes and curly hair to match. I heard him sigh before he pulled me into his chest, falling back onto the bed with my curled into his side.

The sun was peaking through the window curtains, an obvious sign that it was morning. Neither one of us said anything for a few moments, I just continued to listen to his heart beat against his chest; unlike it was in my nightmare.

"Let's go to the beach today," he spoke up suddenly, making me jump from the interruption of silence.

"I have school," I pointed out; it was only Friday after all.

"So, skip with me. You're graduating soon." He shrugged with a growing smile.

"You won't be if you keep skipping classes," I muttered back. Again, he shrugged. I groaned, rolling onto my back before nodding my head. "Yeah, alright. Let's go to the beach."

His grin grew as he leaned over and kissed my cheek; an uninvited smile fell upon my lips before I pushed him away jokingly. He, of course, wouldn't have moved a muscle from my mere human strength, but I rejoiced when he allowed my effort to push him back onto the bed. I laughed slightly before crawling over him to grab my overnight bag from his table side.

"You know," he whispered as I felt arms circle around my waist; subconsciously I leaned against his touch. "You should just start keeping some clothes here, that way you don't have to keep bringing an overnight bag." I looked at him in slight shock from over my shoulder. "I'll clean out one of my drawers for you later. Pack a bag of things that you don't need at the house and I'll put them in the draw for you."

I turned around in his arms-- his arms loosening enough to allow me to move, before tightening once again-- and leaned up to kiss him lightly on the lips; conscious about my morning breath. "I'd like that." I smiled against his lips before kissing him once more and pulling out of his arms to take out my toiletries. He almost whined when I pulled out of his arms, but it only made me laugh before hitting his shoulder with my toothbrush. "I need to get ready for today. You're the one that wanted to go to the beach, remember?"
