"YOU'RE NOT FIGHTING? What, you pull a muscle or something?" Jacob asked with narrowed brows as we walked closer to Edward, Bella and Jasper.

I had received a bunch of messages from Bella this morning; the first one being that she figured out who was behind the army that was starting in Seattle. The one person that was chasing us around in Forks was also the one behind the newborns being made in the city; Victoria. It shouldn't come as a surprise that the red headed vampire was trying to take the whole Cullen family out with an army. Seems like she always has a back up plan up her sleeves.

The last couple of messages that I received from Bella were her telling me that Edward was staying out of the battle and was going to be hiding with her up in the mountain; she had extended the invitation to me as well, since Victoria had also stolen one article of clothing from my room. For some reason, she was also interested in my scent. I haven't told Jacob that Bella extended the invitation to me, mostly because I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that anyways. Even though, I was starting to be more comfortable around Edward for Bella's sake, didn't mean that I trusted him with my life.

"He's doing it for me, okay?" Bella spoke up, interrupting my thought process.

Jacob shook his head before slipping an arm around my shoulders. "Whatever. Just tell me the plan."

Jasper steps forward with his arms crossed. "This field will give us an advantage in battle. We need to lure the newborns with Bella's scent. It needs to end here."

"Edward and I are going on a campsite," Bella turned her eyes towards me for a split second, which didn't go unnoticed by Jacob. "Even if he carries me, they'll still pick up our scents."

"Your stench. however, is revolting." Edward almost smirked.

Jacob growled under his breath. "Dude, you really don't want to start comparing stinks."

"I think he means your scent will mask Bella's," I spoke up, gently rubbing my hand over his side to try and calm him down.

Jacob's muscles un-tensed slowly. "Sure, sure."

"This is not a good idea," Edward sighed, narrowing his brows.

Jasper spoke up again, "Edward. They won't want to get anywhere near his... odor."

"Okay, let's just try it," Bella muttered, walking closer towards Jacob and I. Jacob's arm dropped from around my shoulders before turning around so Bella could jump onto his back. With a little bit of help from Jacob squatting down, Bella managed to climb onto his back and lightly wrap her arms around his neck.

"Eau de wolf, coming up," Jacob laughed at his own joke.

"Run," was Edward's simple answer.

Jacob started running into the forest, leaving me alone with Edward and Jasper. It was silent for a few minutes before Jasper took off after where Jacob and Bella had disappeared to; leading me to believe that he was checking their scents.
