11:am ARRIVED FASTER THAN YOU THOUGHT.

knocking on the door, you patiently wait for someone to open it, getting all your shakes out before tzuyu could see your nervousness.

you had it all planned. a pet shop in town was hosting a special opportunity to meet with dogs until you find your perfect match and adopt one. tzuyu always talked about wanting a dog, but her roommates never agreed to one since she was so young. when you were younger, you remember going to pet-shops for fun and seeing all the different animals. so you thought it would be a good idea to go check out the dogs and pick out some supplies. you hoped tzuyu liked the idea since she was also an animal lover. afterwards you would treat her to some cake and lemonade at a cafe.

from inside the house, you can hear some arguing and movement. it sounded like someone got pushed and someone else got yelled at.

when the door finally opened, you see the eight girls in the back, fixing themselves so it looks like nothing had been going on. at the front was your date, tzuyu...with her new hair.

now most people could argue that her new hair makes no difference, it practically looks the same. what's so special about going from dark brown to light brown? but something about tzuyu made it special.

you don't know what it is (maybe it's because your whipped), but the new hair makes her look hundred times more beautiful and elegant than she was before. it's not that she wasn't gorgeous when she had darker hair, but this new do makes her look more lighter and fresh. something new, you didn't even know you needed.

tzuyu smiles at you, getting ready to leave the house but sana pulls her back in, slamming the door shut and standing in front of you. you look at her in fear and a sort of confusion. sana could be really scary.

"h-hello," you say, mentally cursing yourself for stuttering.

sana smiles rather sweetly which brought shivers up your spine. she was somehow very calm as she said the next words, which proved to scare you even more than you thought possible. "if you hurt my baby, i swear to all things mighty i will cut your head off and feed it to momo."

you give the older girl a look of confusion to which she shakes off, placing a hand on your shoulder. "treat her right, kai. and if she pulls any shenanigans on you, i give you permission to dump her ass."

you can't help but laugh at how quick sana changed her demeanor. she laughs along as well before you are both interrupted by tzuyu bursting through the door.

"you guys are so annoying!" she whines, running to your side, getting completely out of the house.

from inside you can see the other girls. momo and mina were trying to hold tzuyu back, but the younger one succeeded in escaping.

sana groaned, palm meeting her face. "you had one job, guys. way to go!"

"it's not my fault tzuyu suddenly turned into the hulk," mina argued, huffing.

chaeyoung poked her head, sizing you up. "oh wow, dahyun look. kai actually looks nice!"

you rolls your eyes as the others laugh along, taking tzuyu's hand who was more than ready to leave. once the contact was made, there was a scatter of different reactions. sana, mina, and momo all glared at you. nayeon and jeongyeon cooed at the cuteness overload. and dahyun and chaeyoung laughed louder at how flustered the two of your looked. those two really were the bestest friends you could ever ask for.

"well, if we are done here, kai and i have a date," tzuyu started tugging on your arm, pulling you out of the driveway, so the two of you could walk to wherever you were taking her. before sana could open her mouth, tzuyu interrupted. "i know i will be home by dinner, i have my chapstick. and yes i went to the restroom before leaving. also, i have condoms before you all freak out—not like we were gonna use them anyway—"
