"onii-san!" sakura runs down the stairs and jumps into the chair beside you.
the little girl grins widely while looking up at you as if you were the best thing in the world. she really did see you like that. especially after mom died, and you were all she had when dad would leave the house early for work, trying to get enough money to take care of his family.
"good morning, cutie," you say to her, ruffling her black hair. she giggles while rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
when you move your hand from on top of her head, two boys come in and take your place, slapping the poor girl teasingly.
"good morning, brat," they greet in unison. sakura glares at both of them as they take their seats in front of you. "good morning, kai-hyung."
mamoru and endou are dressed in identical pj sets, which is very usual of them. they loved to dress the same and would even stage their conversations to say the same words. however what is unusual is how early they are up.
"it's sunday," you say to them. they look at each other before tilting their heads in confusion. "why are you awake at 7am, you guys usually wake up at 1 in the afternoon."
sakura starts junping again. "oh, oh, oh. i know, ask me, kai! ask me!"
mamoru shushes her, making her pout slightly. "we're taking her to a birthday party at noon, and she needs to buy a present for her friend," endou informs.
your little sister grins wider, if that's even possible. "onii-san, you should come with us."
"sakura," dad scolds for her choice of words, coming into the kitchen, setting the bowl of eggs and another one of fresh rolls in the center of the table. as soon as it touches the furniture, everyone rushes to grab their breakfast, chowing down the delicious homemade food. "god, what am i raising? animals?"
"super good, dad!"
"yummy!"
"thank you, it's delicious!"
you and your siblings compliment the hard work your dad has put into making breakfast. as simple as the task is for him, it has taken your dad a long time to nail cooking just as good as your mom would. the kids recognize that and praise him for it.
"will you be going with them," dad asks you, talking about the twins and sakura.
you shake your head. "no, i have plans."
"really, that's new," mamoru jokes, taking the last roll out of the bowl, causing sakura to whine in protest. "i bet you're hanging out with chaeyoung again."
dad chuckles. "you should invite her over for dinner again. we miss that little ball of joy."
"yes, please. we will be back from the party before dinner," sakura says, excited with the idea.
you almost laugh at the nickname. chaeyoung is no ball of joy.
"it's not chae," you say, getting up from your seat at the table. "i will be hopefully bring another girl here for dinner. so everyone one your best behavior."
now that that's done, let's hope tzuyu agrees last minute.

sana was living a normal life, gardening outside the house with the youngest roommate tzuyu when she spotted something—more like someone.
while bending down, she caught sight of a tall boy with black hair making his way towards the direction of the house.
any other time, sana would've ignored it, but this boy looked so familiar. she just couldn't put her finger on it.
