The peak of the mountains through the clouds
in a city, I'm screaming loud
but no one hears me,
my cries cloaked in invisibility
A river not too far away
I'm in danger, when you ask me to stay
the night with you,
I know I'll return home all black and blue
The forest that protects me from my fears
is so close, but I'm in tears
the path is moonlit,
but even if I run I can't make it
A lake where I could swim away from your hands
you won't let me go, you want me to dance
for you but I can't,
I feel tiny and small as an ant
Fields of plains I wish could help
pray that you don't hear me yelp
fear I'll be punished for my cry,
long that on this bed, you wont make me lie.
