My morning starts in a rush. Hinatid ako ni tatay sa LCPC building. Marunong siyang magmaneho ng sasakyan. Ang alam ko, jeep lang ang minamaneho niya. Jeepney driver kasi siya nang hindi pa ako nanalo sa writing contest. Maybe nag practice siya nito.
I gave him a peck in the cheek before I entered the building. Hinintay muna niyang makapasok ako bago niya iwan ang lugar.
Binati ako ni manong guard ng "Good morning, Ma'am!" kasabay ang isang ngiti.
"Good morning rin po, kuya," I also replied with a smile.
"Miss Love Dove!"
The name refers to me! Penname ko ito sa wattpad account ko, kung saan ako nagsimulang ma-discover. The voice of the person is familiar. As I turned to my right side, nakita ko si Edrick."I think that's mine," he said.

Nang tingnan ko ang damit ko, na-realize ko na pareho ang damit namin. I mean, the design pero sky blue naman ang kulay ng sa akin. "I think it's mine. Hello?" Sa pag ulit niya ng tanong, doon ko pa lamang naalala ang panyong hawak hawak ko.
"Ay! Oo... OPO!" I think I must pay respect.
"Bakit mo ba ako ino-opo?" Tanong niya matapos tanggapin ang inabot kong puting panyo. I can still smell it's manly odor kahit na nasa kamay na niya ito."You can call me with my real name. A year older lang naman ako sayo."
I don't know what to say so I just kept my mouth shut and observed the people at the place. Everyone looked busy. Lahat sila nakafocus sa mga ginagawa. Edrick leads the way.
Dumaan kami sa isang napakalaking section. Napakaraming libro ang maayos na nakalagay sa transparent glass.
"All of these was the first copies of different books and different writers. Lahat ay pinublish ng LCPC. One of these is your book." We slowly stepped into a corner. "And here it is." My eyes glow as I saw my "first baby" (FYI hindi po literal yung meaning nun).
"Really? Is it mine?"
"I guess... You're really amused." Medyo kakaiba ang tono ng boses niya. "Shall we?" Gusto na niyang umalis? Ayoko pa namang iwan ang fist baby ko.
"I think, I have no choice," I whispered.
"Okay." Again he led the way.
I'm here to sign the papers, again. It's a good deal. I only need to write my own life story and tapos na.
Edrick paused for a moment. Nag-ring kasi ang phone niya." I received a text message, Kailangan daw nating pumunta sa La Carlota City."
"Whaat? Napakalayo kaya nun mula dito. Bacolod City to La Carlota City? Whoa! Di'ba pinapunta lang ako rito para pumirma? Bakit naman sinabi mong tayo?" Excuse me, walang tayo. Ikaw at ako lang po.
"Miss Love Dove, urgent daw eh. Kinakailangan ka ring kausapin ni Mr. C., maybe he wants to know more about you."
I think I have no reason to say no. Iyon naman kasi ang pinunta ko eh. "Let's go."
He charmingly smiled at me. Sa tingin ko'y uminit ang aking magkabilang pisngi.
We waited for few minutes sa labas dahil natagalan ang driver ni Edrick. I think we'll travel two hours and thirty minutes? Magkatabi si Edrick at ang driver niya. Ako naman mag-isa dito likuran. After an hour nasira ang pag-enjoy ko sa mga views nang biglang huminto ang sasakyan.
