Chapter 8: The Day

Levi's POV

As soon as morning stroke, I went over to Hanji's.

I knocked at her door. She opened the door.

"Hm? What's wrong Levi? Need anything?", she said.

"Yeah I just need to ask something. It's for Eren.", I replied.

"Oh? Come in then.", she opened the door more for me to come in.

I went in and sat down on a chair and Hanji handed me a cup of tea. I sipped it.

"So what did you wanted to ask?", she said, sitting next to me.

"Eren wanted to know when we can kill all the titans."

"Oh. That's hard to predict."

"I want it to be soon. I want Eren to feel it for a long time."

"Oh I see. Well let me think.."

I waited for a  reply as I sip my tea.

"We can do it tomorrow...", she said.

"Tomorrow???"

"Yeah. Erwin won't mind..."

"Is that final?"

"Yep."

"I see. Well thanks."

"No prob."

I stood up and walked out of the house, back to the headqaurters. The squad were talking in the dining room. I called out for Eren.

He walked towards me.

"I have good news...", I began...

Eren's POV

Good news? What could it be?

"I know when the day is.", Levi continued.

My eyes widen a little. "When?!", I said excitedly.

"Tomorrow...", he replied.

"Wait. Tomorrow? Are we ready for that?"

"Yes."

"I... I can't believe it..."

"Mhm. Now off you go to train."

"Yes Sir! Thank you!"

I ran outside, towards the back of the hadquarters where I can train.

I trained and trained until I tired myself out. Armin, Mikasa and Jean walked towards me.

"We heard about tomorrow.", they said.

"Yeah. Cool right?!", I replied.

"Kind of scary in a way.", Armin said. "We won't know what'll happen.".

"Well. Yeah.. But in the other hand, it's finally the day!!!"

"True..."

Levi's POV

I walked towards them but stayed at a distance. Seeing Eren happy, I'm glad. I leaned against a wall, watching them talk. I smiled under my breath.

Before I almost fell asleep, Hanji's voice woke me up.

"Levi!!!", she shouted.

I turned my head to look at her. She was with Mike.

"We already told Erwin about this day tomorrow.", Mike said.

"Then? Did he agree?"

"Well kinda.", Hanji said.

"Why kinda?"

"Well...."

Hanji told me what Erwin said:

"Kill all of the titans tomorrow? How is that even possible?! Are you going to lead the titans to the walls?! They can break it down if so! And are our scouts ready?! No! Why the hell did Levi even thought of a ridiculous thing?!"

"How did he agree then?", I asked.

"We forced him to. Saying that the war and nightmare would be over if it happens. He seem to have no choice..."

"I see... So he doesn't really like the idea. Cause if he doesn't make it happen, I will..."

"Don't worry Levi. We got it all done. Also, we got your back right Mike?"

"Huh? Oh. Of course.", replied Mike.

I smiled once again then I looked back at my squad. They were still talking happily.
