Chapter 6

I’M SORRY IT’S TAKING ME LONG TO UPDATE!!!! SCHOOL STARTED MONDAY SO IT’S GOING TO BE A WHILE FOR UPLOADS. IT SHOULD BE EVERY WEEKEND. SO ENJOY!

I got up early to get ready for school. Since I missed two days. I put on a coral shirt, black skinny jeans and black lace up boots.  I brushed my teeth, did my makeup, and ate breakfast in under 20 minutes.

When I walked out the door Jason was standing right at the door.

“Where are you going?”

“To school. I can’t miss any more days.”

“Why don’t you just stay here?”

“I can’t I have to.”

“I’ll go too. To make sure Andrew doesn’t try anything stupid.”

“Okay. You want a ride?”

“Sure.” I walked to the driver’s seat, while Jason walked to the passenger seat.  I stuck the key into the ignition. And drove to school.

“How are you going to keep me safe if we have different classes?”

“I have all the same classes as you.”

“Really, I didn’t notice.”

“That was the point. I didn’t want you to notice.” I nodded and pulled into the nearest parking space. I got out and waited for Jason to come out. But he froze when Andrew started to walk over here.

Just walk around him. He won’t make a scene at school.” My thoughts seemed to say. I looked over at Jason who just nodded. I walked around Andrew who caught my wrist. He slammed me against the side of the school.

“Oh this should be fun. But I won’t kill you in front of all of these people. Why don’t we go somewhere a little more private?” He said in a sinister voice. He grabbed my arm and then jumped up super high. Then I was in a dark cellar. My wrists chained to the wall. Same with my ankles.  I started to panic. I looked around and tried calling Jason.

“Jason!” I repeated over twenty times. I needed him to find me. But Andrew came to view from the blanket of darkness.

“Don’t waste your beautiful breath on him.” He told me. If my hands weren’t chained up, I would slap him.

“What do you want Andrew?”

“I want Jason to suffer. Because he and I have a long… history together.” What does that mean? I wondered. I struggled to get myself free from the chains, but it was no use. I was stuck until Jason found me. The question was, if I was going to be dead or alive. Andrew came up in front of me and put his hand on my cheek. His hand was hot, painfully hot. It felt like hot coals searing my skin. I winced and tried to move away from him.

“Aw, you don’t like my touch?” I didn’t answer. I wanted to get away from him. However, his hand burned like fire. I started to scream in agony. I could feel my skin disintegrating under his hand. Finally just as I was about to pass out, his hand was off my cheek. I turned and saw Jason fighting him. Their fists landing into each other’s skin. Jason had the upper hand, because he was faster and stealthier. While Andrew was bulkier, slower than Jason. The fight went on and on. Andrew’s back was towards me. I had to help Jason. Even if my cheek was practically burned off. I saw that there was a rusted nail next to my shoe. I kicked it up and kicked it over to Jason who caught it at lightning speed, and stuck the nail into Andrew’s tattoo that was on his neck. Andrew crumbled to the ground.

“That won’t keep him down for long. Come on.” He ushered me to his car. We drove to my house where I knew that I was safe. Jason and I sat on the couch while he tended to my cheek wound.

“So he burned you using his hand?”

“Yes, it was extremely hot.” He nodded and pulled me closer.

“I’ve never showed you this. But once I do this. You’ll be more connected to me, if that makes sense.” It did.

“Relax, and think about the safest place in the world that you could be at.” I thought about my grandmother’s tiny little cottage. It was the safest place in the world. But when I imagined it, I was with Jason. His arms holding my body close, as if enveloping me in his arms to keep the rest of the world out. I felt all of the wounds, the pains, the sorrows, heal. I felt stronger. The only thing that would break me is if something would happen to Jason. Every painful memory didn’t hurt anymore.

Finally the sensation was gone, and I was brought back to reality. Jason was holding me in his arms. He gently touched my cheek. I realized that it was perfectly healed. I smiled at Jason who smiled back.

“Are you okay Aimee?”

“I don’t know. I’m just tired of Andrew being in the background controlling our lives. “

“I know.” He murmured. My thumb traced his thin pale bottom lip. It felt as soft as it did on my lips. He let me do this for a couple of minutes. I was mesmerized by his ice blue eyes that seemed dangerous to others, but welcoming to me. Finally I couldn’t stand to not kiss him. So I pressed my lips to his.  It seemed like a luxury to be this happy.

His hands traveled my body. While mine were on his face. He laid down on the couch, and I was on top him. We made out like this for a long time. He led me upstairs to the bathroom and turned on the shower. We both stripped out of our clothes. We let the water run down our bodies. I put my hand on Jason's bicep. He kissed me and held me close. The water pounding on our bodies. The only thing I could think of was that this was a big luxury.
