Chapter 7

A/N- I’m sorry that it’s taking me almost 3 weeks to update a chapter. But I will try to update more often. Just please bear with me. Also this story is dedicated to my favorite author on wattpad!!! She is also making the trailer for this book! Wow, talk about an awesome person! Let’s all give her a big hug  ;D*************

I woke up next to Jason, with my head lying on his chest. He was still asleep, so I quietly moved from the bed. I don’t really remember anything from last night, I mean I remember him and me in the shower, but after that, I really don’t remember anything. I brushed my hair and picked up my copy of the Scarlet Letter, which I had to read for English III.

After I got halfway through the book, Jason woke up. I looked up and saw him staring at the window. I quickly moved beside him. I saw Andrew standing outside staring at us. Panic rose, I looked at Jason who continued to stare out the window.

“Jason how did he find us?”

“I have no idea, all I know is, he isn’t going to leave until you come out.”

“I’m not going with him.”

“I’m not telling you to. But I will tell you this; you need to get out of here. “

“How am I supposed to get out of my house when there is a demon guarding it?” Jason thought about this for a moment.

“I have an idea. I can make you invisible, you could go out the back and I’ll catch up with you.”

“You can make people turn invisible?”

“Yes, and it’s not all that cosmic.” I hesitated. I didn’t know if I wanted to be invisible. But seeing no other option, I relented. He smiled and tried to kiss me, but he kind of kissed my nose.

“That’s my nose.” I told him, I brought his face down so that his lips met mine. I could feel his smile against my lips.

“How long does the invisibility last?”

“A couple of hours.” I nodded and walked to the door but before I could open the door, Jason caught my arm.

“Be careful.” He told me. I kissed him lightly before I made it out the door. I made it to the back door, and quietly open it. I felt a rush of cold wind smack me in the face. I walked as if I was walking on egg shells. When I got to the house at the end of the street, I pulled out my phone to call Jason. But he appeared next to me in seconds.

“I’m right here.” I pulled him to me.

“Sorry.” He told me sheepishly.

“Is there a way to make this invisibility thing go any faster?”
