Leyla was certain they would get into a car crash. Mr. Can was driving way over the speed limit and she was clutching her seat tightly as he swerved round corners and raced through cars. Or if they didn't crash, it was likely a police officer would pull them over.

"Mr. Can, slow down-" Leyla commanded as they nearly missed Signor Fabri's office. Can drove past the building and then reversed backwards speedily. He parked up abruptly and Leyla went flying forward in her seat, her head inches away from smacking against the dashboard.

"Sorry." Can mumbled, his hand resting against Leyla's forehead to ensure there was no damage done from his reckless driving. Once he checked her over quickly and knew that she was okay, he was stampeding out of the car. He was moving as quick as his long legs would allow.

"Wait a minute!" Leyla ran after him in her heels. She tottered slowly and then gave up by pulling the shoes off all together. She tip-toed over the concrete as fast as she could to meet Can's pace. "What are you going to do? Just burst into his office?"

"Yes! I'm sure that dirtbag has Sanem-" Can didn't even went to think of the image in his head. All he could see was that image of Fabri and Sanem the first day that they had met; that party had enraged all elements of jealousy within him. Fabri's voice was ringing in his head 'a rare beauty' he had called her. If that hadn't made Can angry, Fabri pulling on Sanem's arm tightly and constantly staring at her definitely had.

"But we aren't sure!" Leyla was just as worried for her sister, but they needed to think about their actions logically – if Can did something violent then all of Sanem's hard work would have been for nothing. One punch or piece of verbal abuse and Fabri could just get Can arrested and as a default, Fabri's cheque to the agency would have to be returned. "We can't go in there and just break into his office. We need to think of a plan first."

"I don't know what to do, okay?" Can sighed, pausing in front of the entrance to the large glass complex. He ran a frustrated hand through his head and let Leyla be his voice of reason for just a second.

"We just have to think about this carefully."

The two stood outside the building for god knows how long. They tried to come up with sneaky plans that would allow them access to Fabri's private quarters, but they couldn't come up with anything definitive that would stop them from getting in trouble later.

"I can't take this anymore, I'm going inside." Leyla tried to hold Can back but to no avail. He had been patient enough and within seconds, he was seizing a security guard by his shirt and demanding that he be let upstairs and into Fabri's office. "I need to go up there. Where is she? Where is Sanem?"

"Sir, I'm going to need you to calm down. Now." The security guard shrugged Can off, but he wasn't largely successful. Can Divit was a large man with a muscular stature that just couldn't compare with the prudish build of Fabri's security.

"Tell him to come downstairs and face me like a man!" Can growled, his anger getting the better of him.

"Mr. Can, you need to calm down-"

"Listen to your lady friend." The security pushed Can away from him, forming some distance between the two and Can stumbled a little. A light lick of perspiration had formed on his forehead and he was clenching and unclenching his fist periodically. "I'm going to have to escort you of the premises if you don't have an appointment-"

Can tried to explain his case to the security guard and whilst he did, Leyla felt her phone go off in her pocket – it was her mother. She deliberated on whether or not to answer and finally gave in.

"Hello, mum. I'm a little busy right now, what's the matter?"

"What time are you coming home? I've run out of ginger, can you get some on your way back?"

"We've had dinner, mum. What do you need ginger for?" Leyla replied, slightly distracted as she tried to watch out for Can in case, he did something he would regret.

"Sanem ran into Sinan on her way home and I'm making him food-"

"What?" As soon as Leyla heard Sanem's name her tone became abrupt and loud, catching Can's attention. "Sanem's at home?" At this news, Can took a few steps away from the security guard and made his way over to Leyla who nodded in approval once she'd gotten confirmation from her mother.

"Yes." Mevkebe dragged out her syllables that basically translated to – 'duh, where else would Sanem be' "But back to the ginger, can you get me some or should I get your dad to run to the store?"

"I'll be like twenty minutes, dad will be quicker to the store and back."

After saying goodbye to her mum, Leyla practically dragged Can back outside and towards the car.

"What happened? Is she okay?" Can was like a child at a candy store, his tone impatient and whiny for the thing he desired, this time, instead of a sweet, it was Sanem. "Leyla, say something!"

"She's at home." Leyla sighed with relief. "She must have been somewhere else and was headed home once it got dark. We must have crossed paths with her whilst we were looking."

"She's not hurt or anything?"

"I don't think so, mum didn't mention anything."Can just nodded and felt a thousand-pound weight lift from his chest.

He knew exactly what he was going to do once he saw Sanem again ... he was going to grovel and apologise and then he was going to seize her into his arms and kiss her senseless. He wasn't getting to let her out of his sight. He was going to ask her to take her job back and he was going to worship every single moment with her – both in the office and out. Can was done playing this friendship game ... she was going to be his girlfriend. With that optimistic thought in his mind, Can headed towards Sanem's neighbourhood with a smile plastered across his face.

And whilst Can and Leyla departed Fabris' premises downstairs, Fabri sat comfortably in his office upstairs just watching the CCTV footage of a violent Can over and over again. All he needed was a bowl of popcorn and he'd be thoroughly entertained.

In all honesty, Fabri had no clue where Sanem had been all this time but seeing Can so angry at the prospect of Sanem being missing made Fabri's revengeful senses tingle. A whole plan pieced together and his head and Fabri just smiled at himself smugly – he finally knew how he was going to get revenge on Can and Sanem both.
