Sanem and Can's relationship became old news as soon as the Red Mode campaign began. As a company riddled with glamour and opulence, the Fikri Harika agency was jumping for joy upon hearing the news of the upcoming relationship between the two companies. Not only did it help the company soar up the business ladder, it also deterred any negative energy away from Can's – what they deemed questionable - relationship with Sanem.

Whilst the rest of the office freaked out over free products and expensive launch parties, Can was able to steal his girl away for some well-deserved quality time. At first, they'd just attempted to hide out in his office but Fikri Harika's glass walls didn't exactly help keep their covert mission covert. In fact, it seemed to only raise more eyebrows. And so, Can had just decided to skip going to the office on days completely. CeyCey would unknowingly make up some excuse about Sanem working at the Red Mode headquarters or having a severe case of diarrhoea whilst the two lovebirds – the albatross and his Artemis – snuck away.

It had started with watching movies on his couch or going out by the coast to take some pictures and eat some fresh fish but soon, Can widened his horizons. He wanted to give Sanem the world, especially since more and more time was passing since her assault. They mentioned it more and more briefly now, but it seemed time was slowly healing her wounds and Can wanted to commemorate that. He wanted to celebrate the fact that Sanem's scars had only made her stronger, them stronger. He had never been more in love and he needed to express that somehow.

And the only way he knew how was through travel.

Travel had always been Can's outlet. Even when he thought he loved Polen, he travelled. When his world came crumbling down around him, he travelled. Can had a relationship with nature and exploring the world like no other and for the first time in his life, he didn't want to run away by himself – he wanted to run with Sanem.

It was all perfectly planned under the pretence of a work trip; Can had informed Leyla who had consequently informed their parents. Whilst Leyla went to a weekend seminar in Antalya with Emre, Can was kidnapping Sanem and whisking her away to the mountain town of Kartepe. She had never encountered snow before and frankly, Can loved it. The quiet, the cold, the white landscapes – Can was ready to show Sanem something other than the monotonous hot summers and chilly winters of Istanbul. Can had thought of it all ... at least he thought he had.

However, getting Sanem into the car was trickier than he had anticipated.

"Tell me where we are going." Sanem pouted, her arms folding across her chest defiantly. Last time Can had tried to surprise her with something, he'd tried to take her white-water rafting. As somebody with amateur swimming skills and no hand-eye coordination, the sport was one she royally sucked at. Her shoes had never-ending pools of water in them and her arms were achy for days after. She had also become the butt of all of Can's jokes because of her terrible skills.

"It's a surprise, my love, surprise!" Can tried to grab her arm but she dodged him swiftly.

"You tell me what we're doing or I'm getting a taxi and going home." Sanem joked as Can continuously tried to usher her into the car. Sanem bounced around on the balls of her feet like a boxer planning its next move against its opponent, her arms lifting in mock defence.

"For God's sake!" Initially, Can thought Sanem's defiance was cute. She was genuinely a little terrified for what he had next in store for her. White-water rafting had just been an attempt to get her out of her comfort zone and try something new, Can hadn't actually anticipated her being as bad at it as she was. He mocked her for it ongoingly. But as the minutes ticked closer and closer to the next hour, Can knew he needed to get her in the car as soon as possible. Kartepe was a while away and he desperately wanted to show Sanem the surroundings whilst the sun was out.

Without second guessing himself, Can bent down and hauled Sanem's small frame over his shoulder. He had intended to kidnap her for the weekend, he just hadn't anticipated actually kidnapping her.

"Can!" Sanem squealed, her fists thumping on his back. "What's going on? What are you doing? Where are we going?"

Sanem's frustration grew as Can refused to answer her questions. He simply walked her outside and threw her into the back of his car. "Caaaaaannnnn!" As a precaution, Can clicked the little child lock button on his keys, effectively locking Sanem into his car. He was glad he had because her hand tried the handle to no avail. "Open the door!"

"Stop throwing a tantrum like a child." Can chuckled as he settled into the driver's seat.

"You can't just take me anywhere, you know." Sanem tried to keep her annoyance clear on her face but as soon as she made eye contact with Can, her resolve melted. She was lost in his eyes and that was that ... she would go anywhere with him.

"I'll take you as I please." Can just whispered before leaning backwards and pecking her softly. Her lips readily met his in the middle, the thousands of butterflies swarming her belly like they had been doing so regularly lately. "Now relax, bebek, we have a long ride ahead of us."

"You're really not going to tell me where we are going?" Sanem fell backwards into her seat.

"Nope." Can smirked. "So quit asking."

"Fine." Sanem swung her leg between the two front seats, surprising her boyfriend suddenly. He jumped at her movements and then realised that she was climbing from the backseat into the front. He used his free hand to help her over, his hand landing conveniently on her plump ass. With the new angle that she provided him with, Can was able to gain the perfect view of his girlfriend's gorgeous body. She was unreal and in moments like these, it baffled Can that she was his. He was the man that got to caress her and make her happy. A smile firmly planted on his lips, Can gave her a little backside a push before she was firmly seated in the passenger seat, a little breathless. "At least make this road trip interesting."

Sanem put on the radio and the two found themselves engulfed in a little bout of karaoke. The stations were coincidentally playing a tribute to lovers and the two danced and sang their hearts out as they raced down the motorway. The windows were rolled down, wind was blowing through their hair and everything felt good in the world as they headed to Kartepe – the place where everything changed.
