A/N: So I found this that I apparently wrote half asleep. I hope you find it as amusingly bad as I did!
“So, Gabe,”
Clementine didn't take her eyes off the road, glancing to her rearview mirror as well as the side mirrors, before switching lanes. “How's Javi doing?”
Gabe shrugged, not removing his hand from the bar above his head as he too watched the road. “Fine, I guess. He misses baseball, but, I think he's happier now,”
“Happier?” Clementine glanced at Sarah through the mirror. “He loved baseball!”
Gabe narrowed his eyes playfully. “Yeah, but now he's teaching kids.”
“-and, helping AJ,” Mari reminded from beside Sarah, Clementine grinning at the name.
Clementine slowed down, applying the brakes as the light turned red, making them the first car in line.
“How long until we're there? I heard they have Crossy Road and Piano Tiles, and this new shooter horror game-”
“-Duck, chill,” Clementine laughed, briefly glancing at him. “We'll be there in-” Clementine was cut off as she took notice of a car next to her running the red light. “Oh shit, oh shit, shit shit-”
Next, her eyes traveled to someone on a motorcycle, swerving to avoid hitting the car that had run the light, only to smash into it and quite literally fly off their bike onto the side of the road, not before flipping and rolling over their bike, more than a few times.
“Oh shit,” Clementine cursed, gripping onto her door. “Sarah is your Dad off?”
“Yeah, why?” She asked, panicked. The person wasn't moving, and another car had smashed into the one that ran the light, rolling over. Pieces of car littered the road now, flying everywhere violently; not to mention the glass from the windows and the pieces from the motorcycle.
“Because he lives two minutes away and they aren't moving. Call him,” She quickly instructed, throwing her door open. She glanced around the intersection, taking note that thankfully, there wasn't that many people out. It was obvious the few cars that were there were stopped, and weren't planning on moving until they knew it was safe to do so.
She glancing over the cars once more, taking note that both drivers of the cars of the accident had gotten out, stumbling as they may be. Her eyes traveled back to the biker, still lying still on the asphalt. Her legs carried her over as quick as they possibly could, ears making out the footsteps of presumably Gabe and Duck as she kneeled down.
Before she even touched the visor, she could hear the person under the helmet hyperventilating - or close to it. Her hand lightly moved to the visor of the helmet, pulling it back, only to be met with fearful green eyes. “Hey,” She soothed, scanning over the girls face. “Can you move?”
The girl strained to shake her head. “I can't feel my legs, I- I can't-” She was cut off as she attempted to take in more deep breaths, gulping.
Clementine glanced down to the rider's legs, eyes widening and shaky breath escaping her lips as she took note of their current state. It may be something horrible to say, but it might've been for the best that she couldn't feel her legs, given the ridiculous sized gash on one leg, shards of glass sticking out of the other. Blood was practically pouring onto the concrete, Gabe already undoing his belt to secure it around the one.
“What's your name?” She asked quickly, looking back up to the girl.
“I-Uh-V-Violet, It's Violet,” She breathed, speaking more to herself than answering.
