A/N: EXTREME TRIGGER WARNING! VERY HEAVILY IMPLIED SEXUAL ABUSE!
“The man you met at the station; we got history with him.”
“Brody-… Don’t listen to her, Clem. She’s acting crazy. She gets this way sometimes, you just gotta tune it out.”
“Don’t be afraid, Brody. Say what you have to say. What ‘history’?”
After a long pause, the auburn haired girl replied. “Marlon let him take the twins. Him and his people.”
“Brody…-”
“-Tenn’s sisters? I thought they were killed by walkers?”
“...That’s the story we told everyone-” “-shut up!”
“...cause Marlon was so ashamed of what-” “-I said, shut up-!”
Clementine’s eyes blew wide as she saw his hand raise, reaching out and tackling him by the waist and into the boiler.
“Clementine-!?” “-calm down, Marlon!”
“Were you going to hit me?!”
“Fucking pointless! I told Lilly you wouldn’t cooperate!”
Clementine moved back as Abel ran up the stairs, pressing his arm against her throat and shoving her against the wall.
“AJ, run!”
She could sense his protest as he ran over to Brody and Aasim, the two backing slowly with Willy behind them as another one of the raiders attempted to gather all four.
The explosion.
An arrow towards Lilly that she dodged.
A bullet towards her that she ducked.
That was all she heard before Mitch had started screaming, Clementine seeing him run towards her foe from the past with his head ducked. She saw Lilly’s had grip the back of his head and-
“-fuck!”
An arrow in Lilly's shoulder.
An angry looking Mitch grabbing it and pushing it in, elicting another scream of pain from the woman.
Marlon with a bow, Louis next to him empty handed. She had her doubts on giving him a weapon before the fight, convinced he may switch sides and aim on them. In the end, she was glad he was still with the group, and that Louis had a thick skull. Mitch might’ve died otherwise.
Her hand reached behind her, grabbing the door knob and twisting, causing both of them to fall backwards into the office. She scrambled to her knees after shoving him off, moving towards the desk and grabbing into her pocket for the knife.
“You little-” Before he could grab her, she sliced at his hand, relishing in a momentary feeling of victory before throwing her foot into his knee and watching him fall. She caught sight of Aasim in the hallway, wrestling the female raider who had gone after them, only to be kicked off balance and fall to her knees, dropping the knife.
She crawled towards said knife after the few seconds it took to regain her posture, only to have her arm grabbed and a fist collide with her face. Her brain had barely processed what was happening before she was yanked up and pinned onto the desk by both arms, Abel tucking one behind her pack and grinning as her face flared with pain.
“Y’know, whenever I see someone like you: weak, small, afraid, and still alive? Well. Bet a lot of folks died to get you here.”
In the corner of her eye, she caught sight of the lighthouse paper weight on Marlon - now Violet’s - desk, reaching for it only to cry out as her arm was twisted higher, fingertips barely grazing the cold surface of the lighthouse only enough to knock it off the edge of the table. A hand, grabbing her by the hair, pulling her head up and smashing it back down into the table.
