A/N: Ep4 Spoilers, but if you haven't seen/played it by now wyd. I wrote this at 4AM on two monster drinks. Enjoy.
“God. Fuck!”
“Stupid...S- Just- WORK! GO FORWARD! WIGGLE! DO SOMETHING?!”
Violet peeked her head around the corner, eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
Sat on her bed, Clementine huffed exhaustedly, before flopping onto her back.
“Stupid leg...Stupid itchy finger…Stupid Louis’ tongue!”
“Everything okay in here…?”
Clementine turned to the door much faster than she should've, heart leaping into her throat. “Jesus!”
Violet couldn't help but chuckle. “Sorry,” She mumbled, eyes softening as she made her way over to the bed. “Though you were coming to join us for lunch..?”
Clementine looked down at the bed sheets. “Uh...yeah… I just- wanted to sit.. For a bit.”
Violet took her seat next to the girl, a doubtful look across her features. “You've been sitting in this bed everyday the past few weeks, Clem.” The brunette turned her head away. “Are you sure maybe you just can't get up…?” She asked softly, resting her hand on her girlfriend’s.
Clementine turned. She wanted to say something. Tell Violet she was right. No, she couldn't stand. Hell, her leg wouldn't move. Not enough, at least. “My arms..” She muttered. “From the crutches. They're...sore.” She explained.
Violet frowned, moments of silence passing, before standing. “Then I'll carry you.”
Clementine snapped her head up, eyebrows furrowed. “What?”
“I'll carry you. Like, a piggy back ride. Cmon,” Violet urged, crouching down in front of her. Clementine stared at the blonde's back in disbelief. “Do you want me to carry you with my arms instead…?”
“W-no,” Clementine quickly dismissed, sighing as she slowly leaned forwards. With a nervous breath, she latched her arms around the blonde's neck, wrapping what was left of her legs around her waist as she stood up. “D-dont drop me,”
“Well there goes my plan,” Violet sighed, grinning, only to feel a jab at her shoulder blade. “Ow! Relax, I'm kidding. I'd never drop you,”
Clementine huffed at the apology, burying her face into Violet's shoulder. The familiar smell was calming, relaxing almost, as her face was soon hit with the chilling breeze.
“I'm not telling them you said that. No, Louis. Lo-” Aasim sighed, glancing up from the brunette boy to the approaching two. “Well well well, what do we have here.” When Violet raised an amused eyebrow, he merely gestured to the boy that was signing them something.
“No, she isn't heavy.” Violet rejected, carefully setting the girl down and watching his next movements.
“I bet she's a leg lighter,” A smile.
“Speak for yourself,” Clementine teased, earning a cringing whistle from a few of the group.
The group resumed conversation, soon breaking into laughter at certain things, or simply eating their food in peaceful silence.
By the time Clementine had finished, Violet was already done and waiting for her to carry her back. Just as before, Violet crouched, letting the brunette slip onto her shoulders and legs fall around her waist.
“You are getting pretty light..” Violet mumbled. “Make sure you eat, okay?”
“We eat together, Vi,”
“I know...I just worry, okay?”
Clementine couldn't fight the grin on her face, humming as she rested her nose on the blonde's shoulder and took a deep breath. “I should have you carry me more often…”
“Is that so?”
“Mmmhm,”
