"Are you sure you're ready to go back?" Cat asks me for at least the twentieth time with her hands on my shoulders as the two of us stand at the airport.

I brush her shoulder off me and smile at her, "Yes, I'm sure, Cat."

It's early October, and two days ago, I had went up to Cat and told her I was leaving on the tenth, which was today.

"I'm going to miss you," she mumbles, wrapping her arms around me and hugging me.

"You too," I mumble, wiggling out of her tight grasp.

The announcements call my flight, and I wave at Cat before going to board the plane.

*

It's 10 am in London when I get there, and I step off the plane, sighing at the feeling of home again.

The instant chill of the airport causes me to pull my jacket closer to me, and I push my shades up my face as I walk through security and leave to get a bus.

*

The bus ride home was spent with me anxiously tapping my boots against the ground and jumping my hand on my knee.

What if Phil was mad at me?

What if Dan was even more mad at me?

What if they wouldn't let me back in?

What did Dan mean when he said he loved me?

The bus stops outside the flat and I anxiously get off the bus and I drag my bag behind me as I go up to the door.

I fumble with the key in my pocket for a while, and I sigh before opening the door and closing it behind me.

Phil turns his head toward the door and his eyes light up when he sees me, "Fiona!" Phil shouts, running over to me.

He hugs me tight and I hug him back.

"I'm sorry," I mumble.

"It's okay," Phil reassures, "I understand."

"Where's Dan?" I ask, when I let go of him.

"His room," Phil responds.

I nod and drop my bags off in my room before walking into Dan's without knocking.

Dan sits on his bed under his blankets on his laptop. His head turns to look at me, "Fiona?"

I smile slightly and nod, "The one and only."

He closes his laptop and comes over to me before hugging me tight.

"I missed you, I missed you, I missed you," he mumbles into my shoulder.

"I'm sorry," I say.

"Me too."

I shake my head, "You have nothing to be sorry for, Dan."

"Excuse you," Dan says, "But yes, I do."

"Okay yeah, let's just both forgive each other."

Dan nods, "Yeah."

I move to the headboard of Dan's bed and he moves right behind me, sitting next to me. I take my jacket off and throw it on Dan's floor. He scowls at me and I giggle.

"You said you loved me," I say, looking at him.

He nods, "I do."

"In what context?" I ask him.  He shrugs and I sigh, "Like, the way I love you or like as a sister?"

He shrugs again.

"Dan!" I exclaim, before he cuts me off.

"I just got out of a relationship with a girl I loved, Fiona. It's not like I can easily go to another girl like," he snaps his fingers, "That. It might just mean because I want someone to fill the space and I don't want to use you like that. I don't know, okay?"

I sigh, "Fine. Okay."

He looks at me and smiles a bit, "Guess what, though?"

"What?" I ask.

"I know I like you, at least."

"What context?" I question, feeling my heart beat begin to pump harder in my chest.

He smiles, "What do you think?"

"I don't - I don't know."

"I know, though, I like you enough to do this and not regret it much," he mumbles.

His hand touches my shoulder, and his head tilts slightly, and in the matter of a few seconds, I'm feeling his lips press against mine softly.

It was quick, but enough for me to know this were going my way.

(oh i think i might be ending this in a few chapters)

Anywhom, this was a kind of filler type thing because I've been in a fluffly mood since yesterday and I just wanted a cute Fionan moment.

I don't even have a good ship name for them, wow. If you have any good ship name ideas, comment them?

Until next time, hopefully with a better chapter, bye!
