Cobblepots Enemy: 48- Boyfriend?

I was trying to shove Raymond away, I got up off of his lap and turned to Victor and Oswald. Their faces?

Zsasz looked nauseous at the sight of his 'sisters' kissing someone while Oswalds mouth was open and he looked ...shocked/heartbroken.

"Hi guys, uh" I said and motioned to Ray "This is Raymond Danza ..my ex boyfriend" it was awkward to see Oswald and Ray in one room together. But, surprisingly Oswald turned ...calm?

He straightened up and gave a huge fake smile "A pleasure, truly. I heard glass shatter and was afraid someone had beoken in" he said and glanced at me "Clearly that is not the problem."

I was ...uncomfortable as Ray stood up narrowing his eyes at Oz "Yeah. Sure." He turned to me and smiled "I'll visit you later, Sita."

I crossed my arms and nodded to him as he walked out the door, Oswald gave one of his dry laughs "Sita? Sounds like a dogs name, tell me Nessita are you wearing a choke collar?"

"At least dogs dont lay eggs, penguin" I said and glared at him "I'd appriciate if you dont make fun of him, he truly is a nice guy."

Oswald snorted "Sure. And nwiter of us have ever killed anyone" he said and gave me a look, I shook my head and bit my jaw.

"You are unbelievable Cobblepot."

I stormed off to my office and Zsasz sat down with a groan as Oswald followed me, I tried to shut the door on him but he pushed it open and closed it behind him witha  slam. No windows. No way out.

"How am I unbelievable Nessita?"

"You barged into my place and Ray left because of you."

"With the look on your face you sure looked like you werent enjoyin it!"

"How do you know what I enjoy?!" I snapped.

He set his cane down on my desk "We were dating at one point remember? We were going to get married and you left Gotham because of something we could have fixed. Instead of fixing it and being with me you run off to God knows where and date someone like that!"

"Are you jealous?! This is sure what it sounds like!"

"Maybe I am! Maybe I am jealous because this past year someone else has been holding you and not me!"

"You could have stopped me, I had a three hour wait that day at the train station."

He put his hands on my face and brought me closer to him "Would you have listened? You can be a hard headed bitch sometimes and that is why I love you" that was all he said before putting his mouth on mine. I was in a state of shock as he kissed me that I was kissing him back.

I expected a argument. Maybe a fight? Slapping? Punching? Not this. Definitely not this. I was not prepared for this, I forgot how good it felt to be wrapped in his arms with my arms around his neck. How good of a kisser he was.

But, it stopped when he pulled back from me and we just stared into each others eyes, he blinked a couple of times and moved his hands up to push my arms down from around his neck. I took a step back and crossed my arms looking off to the side.

"Nessita ..why did you come back? To hurt me? Are you ...are you okay?"

Never could I tell him the truth of what happened and what I found out. It pained me but, he could never know. Never know of anything.

"I came back because Gotham wanted me back. It is as simple as that" I said and shrugged as I leaned againsr the wall "Oswald, were you jealous?"

He looked right at me and I had my answer. Ray had made Oswald jealous, I dont know why but I felt ...guilt.

"I meant what I said. I still love you, even though I try not to" he said and kicked open the door revealing Victor, Blue and Crash eavesdropping on our conversation"is nothing safe in Gotham anymore?!" He snapped and walked out of the room, I put my head in my hands and sighed.

No nothing is.
