Mr& Mrs Cobblepot's Vow: 85- Not Today

The only other time Victor ever shot at me was when he was training me. And now I realize he was going easy on me.

"I can tell you one thing. I am sick and tired of getting shot at in my own precinct" Harvey said as bullets flew over our heads, I held my hands over my head as Alfred flew over beside Harvey.

"Hey, what the bloody hell's going on? I thought you had this lunatic locked up."

"Ivy broke him out and gave him an arsenal" Harvey said annoyed "But I have an idea. I got to get to the storeroom. Give me cover."

I held my gun up and Harvey shouted "Alvarez, go!"

Me, Alfred and the GCPD opened up on zsasz and he ducked down, but not before shooting one last time.

I yelled at a buppet hit my right shoulder sending me back onto my ass and Alfred looked over "Miss Nessita" he said as everyone ducked down again, Zsasz started shooting.

Alfred helped me air up againat the desk and I let him look at my shoulder "I'm fine" I said.

He frowned "Last time I saw you ready to battle. You were quicker than that" he pointed out and grabbed something from the floor and held it to my wound as bullets flew over head.

I held the abandoned jacket and closed my eyes "Its probably because I have been out of practice for awhile now" I said and smile "I had a kid. Little boy, sadly I have no pictures to show."

Alfred smiled "Well, congratulations. I hope he turns out almost exactly like you, no offense."

"None taken."

Thats when I hear " Hey, lover boy."

Zsasz stopped shotin wnd I peeped over the desk to see Harvey ...what in the actual hell was he wearing?

" Are you serious right now?" Zsasz asked.

Harvey noddes under all of the clothing and shit "As a heart attack."

Zsasz laughed "What an idiot" he said and started shooting. Harvey ran and tackled him to the ground, I couodnt help but laugha  little at the yell he gave out.

Harvey stood up and took the helmet thing off his head "Oh, my Ah, that felt good" he said and grinned. Everone stood up but me, I felt a little light headed.

Harvey looked over at me "Ness? God, Nessita" he said and walked over he crouched down beside me and looked at my shoulder "What do you need me to do?"

I shook my head "Nothing. Just leave me" I said and used the table to help me stand up, I was wobbley "I can help myself."

He frowned "What is weong with you?" he asked concerned "This isnt the woman who helped Falcone, Maroni or even Cobblepot."

I looked at the floor and put te gun on the desk "We all change Harv. Sometimes, anyway" I said and walked out of the GCPD not looking back.

I looked at the clock as I sat at my desk "She has been gone for too long" I whispered to myself and srood up "Olga! I need a babysitter!"

The door slammed behind me and "No need for that" was said, I turned quickly and seen Nessita with a napkins held to her shoulder, blood was seeping through "Oswald ..."

I grabbed her hand and set her down in my chair "We can fix this. Dont speak, Olga!" I yelled as my nose scrunched up. Worriment and anger rose up in me.

She rolled her eyes and grabbed my right hand with her left one "Oswald. I need to-"

"No. Not yet, we have to get you better."
