housemates 30 -- attention seeking

Weeks after their 'separation', J would always send flowers to M at the nurses' station. The once almost drab nurses' podium would have some sort of floral arrangement which the other nurses admired and enjoyed.

"...ang ganda pala kung may flowers dyan no?" Dr. Rodriguez quipped as she passed by the nurses' station.

"Ay opo! Ano na naman kayang flowers ang papalit dyan?" Patricia said.

"...hmmm...i-request kaya natin na ibahin naman ang color..." Val commented.

"Anong color ba gusto nyo?" Nic asked, smiling.

"Yiheee..." the nurses collectively tease M. They think that J is just now making the moves. He has, after all, changed since he and M were teamed up to work the rounds of the pediatric wing, particularly Ward 11. Dr. Rodriguez just looked at them and smiled.

"Good morning, ladies. Good morning, Mendoza!" J greeted cheerily, smiling, as he looked at the board where patient's names and information were written.

"Good morning Doc..." Patricia and Val replied.

"Doc, bakit ma-special mention kay Nic?" Patricia teased.

"...sya kasi ang partner ko diba?"

"...ah oo...kahit na matagal nang ni-reshuffle ang team ups..." Patricia continued.

"...mine-mentor pa ako ni Mendoza..."

"Ahh...okay..." Val smirked.

"O, Kristine, what's wrong? Get back to bed please. Papunta na sina Ate Nic dyan..." Patricia said as she spotted Kristine, a teenager admitted for shortness of breath and suspected upper respiratory tract infection. Kristine had gotten out of bed and was standing just outside the door of her room.

"I'm bored"

"I understand sweetheart pero di ba sinabi sa yo ni Dr. Chan na kailangan mag-rest muna at i-che-check ulit yung heart mo later today?" Patricia said as she entered the room and tucked Kristine back in bed.

"kanino galing yung mga flowers? Ang OA sa dami ha?" Kristine asked.

"Ahh...ang ganda no?" Patricia replied.

"Araw-araw may flowers?"

"Hmm"

"...gagawin na bang flower shop tong ospital?"
