"Okay naman. Lay-over sa Narita. Sarap ng ice cream. Hahaha! Would you believe na dun pa lang ako nakabili ng Haagen-Dasz na ice cream?"
"You do know that Haagen-Dasz is an American brand?"
"It is?"
"Yep! Hahahaha!"
"Oh wow! Yun lang ang nakayanan ng budget ko sa airport. Hahaha! Kamusta ka naman dyan sa conference mo?"
"Okay naman. We have a series of meetings over the next few days. Ikaw?"
"Well, I just checked in at the hotel. The convention starts tomorrow pa. Buti nalang talaga na nagsabay yung mga conferences natin no?"
"...magkahiwalay naman tayo..." a tinge of sadness in M's voice.
"...yun lang...hirap na hirap nga ako everyday na di tayo magkasama kasi we don't live in the same house...are you crying?"
"...I brought the note you gave me before you left..."

"...three days for this conference here in Florida...then a week with Mom and Dad in New York...they were both so surprised to see me at their doorstep the other day..."

"No. I mentioned about the conference in Florida but didn't give them details. I called my cousin whose in Manhattan to pick me up and bring me to Mom and Dad's house."
"I'm sure tuwang-tuwa yung Mommy mo..."
"...sobra! Sabi nga nya, if I had informed them that I was coming, they would have arranged to come with me dito sa Florida..." J chuckled despite the sad tone in his voice.
"...I'm sure miss na miss ka ng parents mo no?"
"But I get to talk to them every week..."
"Years Ga...ilang years ka rin na di nila nakita?"
"Hmm...namiss ko rin sila...besides, I'll be staying a week with them pa after the conference..."
"....Ga, it's almost 9am here. I have to go down to the ballroom for the conference..."
