Misty would stay at my co-workers house until I got back two weeks from now. Mickey told me I could leave after one week, but I liked to belive I would be able to stay for two.

My suitcase was packed and everything in my house was somewhat clean. I wore ripped skin tight black jeans and a loose tucked in shirt. My sunglasses stood tall on my head.

Mickey got out of his car smiling. "Ready for our overdue road trip?" He asked.

"Yeah." with as much emotion as I could force out.

I got in sitting to the right of  Mickey. "How was packing?" He asked.

"Good." I said looking out the window.

"How's Daisy?" he said asking about my friend from college.

"Good." I lied not knowing since we never talked.

"Well, what's got you all in the dumps."

I shrugged not knowing what it is like to be truly happy any more.

"Well, Josh and Avery are the only ones at the house."

"Spencer?" I asked bitterly.

"He has stuff at the house but he isn't exactly moved in; Some stuff about being with his mom."

"He still lives with his mom?"

Mickey laughed making a sharp left. "You'd like that wouldn't you, but no. She was getting drunk a lot. Went through a pretty rough stage."

"Why?"

"His dad apparently re-married." He said. "Ten years younger than him. Anyway, she finds out sends her in a downward spiral.  But he is doing really good.  Mostly works at home, but is super helpful with Josh's-"

"Buisness." I said nodding. "Avery?"

"Well, That perky ginger is just fine."

"Josh?"

"Good." He said not saying more indicating to keep away from him.

"He hasn't gotten over Fi?" I asked with a mumble.

"Not Fi. You." He said vexed. "Look, once you left he was well mad. His best friend lost his- well everything. Josh he was mad you even got invited, but of course he wouldn't say anything with Avery and all. Just whenever you're around him-"

"Remember I'm on thin ice."

"Yeah." He said uneasy.

"Anything else I should know." I said sarcasm oozing from my tone.

"Bo, Spencer still has Bo."

It kind of made my heart flutter at the thought of Bo. How he managed to keep him.

"And Spencer visits your dad."

My heart sank once I thought about my father. The 23 miss calls. I could have answered. I just wasn't able to hear his voice on the other end knowing I left him. I left him drunk and alone.

"He sobered up." Mickey said no longer waiting for a response.

"I have a lot of relationships to rekindle." I said staring outside at the beautiful scenery.

Mickey stayed quiet for the most of the ride. Messing with the radio a few times.

"Look, Don't let Josh ruin this trip for you. I know Spencer and you haven't talked, but you guys were friends before." Mickey said.
