This is a LONG chapter. It is all of her third day at the lovely gang playhouse. And I like to I think I did good on the whole "read Raven's mind" thing.

It was lunchtime and apparently the gang was still big on family eating. I went down stairs to see Mickey stuffing meatballs into his sub while Avery buttered bread.

"Hey, babe." Mickey said looking up from his food.

"Hi." I said sitting beside him. I sat across from Spencer, but due to the large amounts of food between us it didn't matter.

"What do you want?" Mickey asked sweetly.

My eyes scanned the various amount of food. "I- I don't know."

"Make a damn ham sandwich."Josh intervened while washing dishes.

"Be nice, Dr. Seuss." Avery said sitting beside Spencer.

"Ham sandwhich?" Mickey offered.

"Sure." I shrugged in no mood to start another battle.

"White, wheat or potato."

"Give her potato." Spencer said looking down at his half made sandwhich.

Mickey reluctantly grabbed the long loaf of potato bread handing it to me. "Potato?"

"Only type I eat." I said taking it with a mumble.

"The toaster is behind me." Spencer said not looking up.

I slowly got up to toast my bread only able to eat it toasted. "Ham and mayo sandwich?" I asked passing Spencer.

"And a comic book." Avery said running her hands through his untammed fluffy hair.

I winced wishing I could do that. Wishing we could lay in bed forever. Just him and I. "Well I still gotta go pick up Bo." Spencer said getting up running a hand through his hair. He rolled up his comic book taking his sandwhich leaving.

"So, Ra tell us about Pennsylvania." Avery said turning in her chair to face me.

I shrugged putting my toast in the toaster. "I kinda missed home." I said smiling.

"So you'll stay?" Avery asked wishful thinking.

"uh, I don't think so." I said nodding turning to face my toasting bread the heat baking my face.

"If you miss home why hurt yourself and stay away from it?" Josh asked without any annoyance.

"Something is off.  I think the space I put between me and home just made everything, stale."

"Stale?" Josh asked in an almost laugh.

"Like everything is tainted." I said.

"By bad feelings?" Avery said in a questionable tone.

"Maybe." I said knowing she was right.

"Can we do anything to help?" Avery asked.

"You're asking the wrong person." Josh muttered leaving the kitchen.

"I think we just need more time. All of us." Mickey said finishing his sub putting his dishes away.

"Do you think you and Spencer could- I don't know go back to normal?" Avery asked quietly.

Mickey left before she could ask her question, but I knew he heard it making sure to stay in earshot.

"What's normal?" I asked.
