                     The house was pretty huge.

I mean, it wasn't a mansion, but it was still pretty impressive.  It was larger than the orphanage, which wasn't all too big, but sill had five or six kids living together at one time.

                      "...well?"  Said Lyn-z

                      "...well, ITS AMAZING!" I yelled

"Lets go inside then!" Laughed Lyn-z

The inside looked bigger than the outside.  The living room was large and open, and if lf you turned to your left then you could see a large flat screen TV.  The sofa was long and grey, and had a part on the end where you could lay down.  The kitchen was part of the open living room, and it had white tiles and modern appliances.  The stairs were on the right, and they led to the second floor.  Gerard and Lyn-z led me to my new room.

"Right around this corner is your room.  It's sorta empty, but tommorow we can go shopping.  We tried to pick a gender neutral color because we didn't know who we were adopting.  You can change it if you want."

"Okay, okay. JUST OPEN THE DOOR!"  I was super excited to see my room.  Gerard was standing in front of the door.  I guess you could say he was in the doorway. (I'm sorry)

"Okaaaay, prepare yourself.  duuuun duuuuuuuuuuun DUUUUUUUN JOSH DUUUN" He opened the door.

"OH MY GOD!"  I yelled of excitement.  The room was HUGE! It was empty, but it was at least three times as big as my old room.  The walls were navy blue, and there was a huge window at the end of the room with blue striped curtains.  The white dresser was against the wall on the very right side of the room.  The bed was on the left side of the room, but it was just a mattress.  The dresser had a large mirror (for doing my eyeliner, of course), and had a small box on top of it.  I walked over to the box.  It was brick sized and wrapped in green wrapping paper.

"Go ahead, open it" Said Lyn-z.

I peeled back the paper, only to reveal an- IPHONE BOX? "NO WAYYYYYYY" I screamed. (Ok so I don't know which iPhone came out in like 2014, so I'm guessing it was like the iPhone 5)

"Consider it a welcome gift" Said Lyn-z.  "But now we have to lay down some ground rules."

This next bit just switches between lyn-z and Gerard talking so sry if it gets confuzzling.

"She's right.  Rule number one NO BOYS" said Gerard

"*sigh* She can be friends with whatever gender she wants, Gerard"

                 "Fiiine, BUT NO FUNNY BUSINESS"

"Rule number two, be home by eight every night, and we have to know where you are."

"Rule number three, no drinking, smoking, tattoos, illegal stuff, and always do your homework"

"Rule number four, try to keep good grades.  It's okay if you don't understand a topic, just make sure that you get help if you need it."

"Rule number five, don't come in our room or our office unless it's an emergency or we give you permission.  I think that's it, can you think of anything else?"

"Nope" Then Lyn-z's phone buzzed.  She pulled her cell out of her pocket.  "Welp, Ray and Mikey are outside.  Ready to go?"

"Yup" I said through a smile.
