Gerard's POV
I was frozen, staring at the unconscious body of my daughter. I couldn't move, but Frank was the first to react.
"Holy crap!" He said as he ran to her side, "Ray, call 911, she's nocked out."
Ray ran into the other room and frank lifted Delilah onto the couch. He caressed her head in his hands. Lyn-z ran over to her side, which is when my body finally decided to break out of its solid trance.
"Oh my god, Delilah," I whispered as I knelt down besides the sofa. I knew that she was passed out because of me. My stupid ass couldn't figure out how to forgive someone. "F-Frank, I'm sorry. This is all my fault." I said as I felt hot tears forming in my eyes.
"No, Gee, it's okay. She's gonna be okay." Said frank, not taking his eyes of Delilah.
"But none of this would have happened if I hadn't broken up the band. We could all still be happy together, and we wouldn't be arguing like kids right now." I said
"Gee, the breakup was bound to happen. We all wanted to go a different way with our music, I just couldn't accept it. Plus, Delilah wouldn't be a part of your life if you didn't break us up," He looked over at me as he said it "I hope we can be, well, chill again"
"Yea," I said, sort of smiling, "we're chill."
Mikey ran into the room. He was watching for the ambulance through the window. "It's here" he called.
Frank picked Delilah up bridal style and carried her outside to the ambulance. He was always stronger than me. I rode in the speeding red van with Delilah, but the others had to take their own cars to the hospital.
We were finally all settled in a hospital room. The doctors had told us that she was going to be all right, she was just in a state of shock and that she might wake up in an hour or two. The cause of shock was from a therapudic chain of events (THIS IS THE SCENT OF DEAD SKIN ON THE LENOLIUM FLOOR). Ray flipped on the TV and we all sat in silence next to Delilah's hospital bed. Then after about fourty five minutes, Mikey and Frank went to go get some doughnuts for all of us. Lyn-z, Ray and I were the only ones left in the hospital room with Delilah.
We all acted like we were calm and comfortable, but inside all of us were afraid for Delilah. The doctors said that she would be ok, but anything can happen. All we could do was sit and hope.
