Not now. This is everything that I've wanted ever since she left, but I don't want it now.
"Delilah oh my god! I haven't seen you in so long!"
"H-hi Jamie!" I said, putting a fake smile on my face.
She looked so different, but exactly the same. Her hair was cropped short, when before it fell far passed her shoulders. She was a little bit taller and a little bit plumper. She still looked beautiful, and her eyes still had the same glow as they always did.
"How have you been!" She said, as she leaned in for a hug, which I returned.
"Good! I got adopted," I said awkwardly. How can she be so calm, while I'm going through so much pain. "My new mom is actually right over there."
"That's amazing! My parents are both working right now, but I got a job here so I could pay for upcoming collage and stuff. Being an adult is gonna be hard, enjoy your teenage days while you can." She giggled. He giggle was so cute, and her whole face lit up when she laughed.
I have to get out of here before I start having a mental breakdown. This is all too much emotional stress on me. The person who ripped my heart out of my chest without knowing it was finally standing right in front of me again. It was Jamie
"Hey D, your Frappuccino is melting- oh who's this!" Said Lyn-z as she walked over.
"Y-your Lyn-z way! Delilah, this is your new mom!" Yelled Jamie.
"Heh, yea" I said shyly
"I'm Jamie, Delilah's friend from the orphanage. Hey Delilah, can I get your number?"
"Yea, here's my number." I said as I entered the didgets inter her phone.
"Okay D, we gotta hit the road, Gerard's probably gonna get worried," Said Lyn-z "nice meeting you Jamie!"
"You too!" She called as we walked out of the Starbucks.
Lyn-z looked at me seriously when we got in the car. "Delilah, is there something you want to tell me?"
What could she mean? She didn't figure it out, did she? "U-um-"
"Delilah, I'm not stupid," her serious face turned into a huge grin, "you have a cRuSh!" She called out.
"W-wHAT? N N NO SHES JUST A FRIEND!" I yelled back
Her face turned serious, but not in a bad way, in a loving way "D, I can tell when someone is crushing hard on someone, because I've been there too. She's not just a friend, your in love."
"I-i" Tears started to form in my eyes. They were happy tears.
"What's wrong sweetie?" She said as she put her arms around me.
"I never thought that you would be so cool with me, well, liking girls." I said through tears.
"Delilah, you could like trees and I would support you. Your safe in this family, and I promise that we won't ever stop loving you." She said with a smile
Maybe that's why I feel so hurt when I see Jamie. Maybe it's because she left me the same way my real parents did. They left me without saying goodbye.
