CHAPTER 2

Aderenle frowned at the huge pile of files on the desk. He wondered how he was going to finish it that day. His life was a huge mess already. Office was stressful, home was terrible. His elder sister entered his office smiling. She looked so elegant in a black skirt suit with silver heels.
"Why is my favorite brother frowning this morning?" She asked as she took her seat.
"Thank God,I wanted to come to your office. How do I sort this files?" Aderenle said.
"What can you ever do without me? Ask your Secretary to help you,she looks competent," Adebola replied smiling.
"She is lazy,she can't do anything,"
"The new one?"
"Do I have a new secretary?"
"Oh my God, Aderenle Richard Adeleke,what the hell is wrong with you?" Adebola asked
"I am too busy to notice little things like that,"
"She is pretty,intelligent and competent. Teach her some things about the company and get some load off your back," Adebola said.
"Alright, I will. That reminds me, Adeire asked me for a hundred thousand naira. Do you think dad cut down her allowance?"
"She also asked me for two hundred thousand yesterday. She has been strange lately. She doesn't talk, she gets emotional and she is weird,"
"When we get home, both of us will talk to her," Aderenle replied.
"I have to go,have a nice day," She said patting his back.
"You too," He replied.

"I said two packs,why did you deliver one?" Adeire said. She switched off her phone in anger after speaking to the man.
She heard a knock and she stood up to open the door of her room. "What is it?" She asked the maid standing by the door.
"Madam said you should come downstairs now,"
"Why?"
" I don't know ma"
"Fine,I'll be down shortly," Adeire said as she closed the door. Few minutes later,she went downstairs to meet her mother.
She saw her mother sitting with a handsome young man. The man was dressed in a black T-shirt on Jean trousers and a pair nice black Snickers.
Her mother noticed her presence and said,
"Thank Goodness,what took you so long?"
" er.....I...was doing something, "
"Whatever, this is Chinonso, your new lesson teacher," Mrs Temilola said.
"What!!!" Adeire shouted.
"Your grades are dropping, your last GPA was 2.2. You can't graduate that way,"
"Mum,please I will work harder," Adeire said.
"Your dad and I have made a final decision,"
Adeire rolled her eyes and left the sitting room.

Adebola smiled as she cleared her desk. She was done with her work for the day. As she picked up her bag,she heard her phone ring. It was a call from Mrs John.
"Hello Ma, How are you doing,"
"Oh my God,............I will be there right now."
She picked her bag and left her office hurriedly.
