Dedicated to ifemide and Hannastashia Adebola looked at her daughter unconscious on the floor and She felt vulnerable. She picked up her phone, left the room and took to her heels. She did not know where she was going but she kept running.
After 3 hours, she stopped running. She didn't know that she ran for that Long until she checked her phone. It was one o' clock in the morning. The streets were empty and very dark. She was getting scared because she didn't know where she was. She was so confused and she called the first person that came to her mind. He picked on the third ring.
"Hi," She said softly.
"Hey, what's up?" Olaoluwa asked as he sorted out the files in his study. He wasn't asleep yet. He was going through some files pertaining to a murder case that occurred the day before.
"Are you busy?"
"Not really,what is it?"
"Can you pick me up?" Adebola asked as she played with her fingers.
"Where are you? Are you okay?"
"I don't know,I think I am a little bit far from my estate. I am beside Foodie restaurant,"
"Alright, just wait there,I'll be there in thirty minutes," Olaoluwa said as he picked his car keys from the table.
Thirty minutes later, Olaoluwa got to Foodie restaurant and saw Adebola sitting by the road.
"Hey, how are you?" Olaoluwa asked
"Erm, something happened and I.....I....I don't know, please just take me to St John hospital," Adebola asked.
"Are you okay?" Olaoluwa asked in deep concern
"Yeah,I am. My daughter is there,"
"Oh my God, what is wrong with her?"
"Er.....erm....she....." Adebola stammered as she stared at the floor.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me," Olaoluwa said gently.
"Cocaine," Adebola said softly.
"Cocaine?"
"Yeah, apparently my sister takes cocaine and erm....I .....don't know how Modurotoluwa found it but we found her in Adeire room, unconscious with cocaine in her mouth," Adebola said in tears. Olaoluwa bent down to hugged her.
"I don't even know what to do. I am so mad at them. Why will my daughter take cocaine? Why will Adeire take cocaine in the house?" Adebola said as she sobbed into Olaoluwa's chest.

Adeire dialled Chinonso's number for the tenth dial and groaned in frustration as it went to voicemail. She sat quietly at the corridor of the hospital waiting for the doctor with her family. Her dad, mum, brother and Helena were also there. Nobody had said anything about the drugs yet. She had also sent text messages to Chinonso but he didn't reply. She looked up and saw Chinonso coming close to her and she stood up in relief. She wanted someone who understood her to be with her because she was scared.
"Hey,are you okay? I saw your text messages?"
"No,i am not,"
"It's okay...........you..."
"I thought I paid you to help her," Temilola said interrupted angrily immediately she saw Chinonso.
"Good evening ma,I......"
"I paid you to help her stop using drugs, why are you a therapist if you can't help a single patient," Temilola said close to tears.
"Mum, what are you saying?" Adeire said in dismay.
"Baby,I knew you were using drugs but i was waiting for you to tell us," Temilola said close to tears.
"You knew?" Adebayo, Aderenle and Adeire said.
"One of the maids told me and I saw the drugs myself when I searched your room. Then,I paid him to help you but clearly,he didn't," Temilola said as she glared at Chinonso.
"Is this true?" Adeire asked Chinonso angrily.
"I can explain," Chinonso said as he attempted to hold Adeire.
"Is it true?" She asked again as tears dropped freely from her eyes.
"Yes," Chinonso said as he lowered his head.
"So you were never a drug addict, all those stories, everything was a lie?" Adeire asked.
"Please let me explain," Chinonso pleaded.
"Please leave," Adeire said bitterly.
"Adeire, please.."
"She asked you to leave," Aderenle said as he raised his voice and Chinonso obeyed. Aderenle moved closer to his sister and hugged her.
"It's okay," He whispered as he patted her back gently.
"Mummy told me that he was a teacher," Adeire said as she sobbed into her brother's chest.
"I know,it's okay," Aderenle said.
