CHAPTER 5

"Why on earth did you send him away? Is your education a joke to you?" Temilola yelled at her daughter.
"Mum,you  would have brought someone sensible,"
"So it is now my fault that I brought someone sensible,"
"He isn't sensible, I told I don't want this lesson, I don't want to work in daddy's company,"
"Nobody is forcing you to work in your dad's company,"
"Then................."
"Adeire,that's enough,"Adebola said. As they were arguing,Adebola and Aderenle noticed but they didn't know.
" But you were not there when mum.............."
"I told you to keep your mouth shut," Adebola ordered.
"Leave her,let her continue to talk.  Everything I am doing is for your own good and you are blaming me. I don't know where I went wrong in training you and your brother. You never listen to me," Temilola said close to tears.
" Mum,I will talk to them I promise, "Adebola said as she moved closer to her mum. Temilola nodded and left for the kitchen.
" I want to see you guys upstairs now,"Adebola ordered as she moved upstairs.

"What is wrong with you guys? Why are you behaving like that to mum?  I don't like and I know dad won't like it if he knows," Adebola said to her siblings"
"Adebola you know that mum can be frustrating at times,"Aderenle said.
"How? She asked you a simple question and you became angry. She  brought a lesson teacher for Adeire and Adeire sent him away."
"Sister Bola,I don't like the teacher," Adeire said.
"So? Your grades are really dropping. You guys should go and apologize to her right now,"
"Okay," Aderenle and Adeire said.
"That reminds me, Adeire what are you using your money for?"Adebola asked.
" I don't understand your question,"
"You've been demanding for a lot of money, what are you using it for," Aderenle asked.
"Oh!,my project,"Adeire lied.
"What project is that?" Adebola asked inquisitively.
"You cannot understand,"Adeire said smiling.
" Fine,cut down your budget you are spending too much,"Adebola said and she nodded.
"Now both of  you should go and apologize to mum," ******************************
Adebola emptied the content of her bag on her bed. Her earring was missing. She saw a strange paper on her bed and she suspected that it must have fallen from her bag. She picked up the paper and read the content.
"Enjoy your life while it lasts,"
She dropped the paper hurriedly as she was shaking vigorously. She took the paper and kept it in a small box.
She put her things back inside her bag and said a word of prayer.

"Yes Sir"
"Prepare another one to send tomorrow,'
" but sir,this lady did not do
anything,"
"I don't care,she must die,"
"Okay sir."
