CHAPTER 6

Adebola got to her office very early in the morning because she needed to do write a report. Immediately she got to her office, she said a quick word of prayer and sat down to start the report. She dipped her hand into her drawer to bring out her pen but she felt something strange. She opened her drawer well and saw a wrapped box. She unwrapped it slowly and she saw a white jewelry box. She smiled as she opened the jewelry box. Immediately she saw what what inside the box,she screamed. They were pictures of rapist,rale positions, naked people and a note.
"Surprised right,they are dead and you will soon be,"

"What do you understand by trade creditors," Chinonso asked Adeire and she explained.
"Wow,you are very intelligent, why is it that you are failing?" Chinonso asked and Adeire shrugged.
"There has to be a reason, is it because you know that no matter how low your grades are,you will work in your dad's company,"
"Only people with first class and second class upper are employed into my dad's office,"
Chinonso laughed and this action surprised Adeire.
"Why did you laugh?"
"No offence intended but when you were talking,you sounded like an addict but I know you are not because you have a higher self esteem than people who are addicted to drugs."
"How do you know?"
"I was once an addict"
"How did you stop?" Adeire asked in deep concern.
"Therapy,"
"Ohhhh,which..............................never mind"
Chinonso smiled and said;
"When you are ready to talk let me know," He packed his things and left the house.
"What do you mean?wait........don't go"
She released a huge breath when she realized that he had gone.

"So who do you suspect?"
"DPO, I don't know,"Adebola replied close to tears.
" Did you offend anyone?"
"DPO,I don't know,"
"Then why will someone............"
"That's enough," Adebayo said.
While the DPO was interrogating Adebola,her father and her brother came in.
She stood up to hug herfather.
"But sir,I was just doing my job,"
" I just finished speaking to the commissioner,he will send someone else, "
"Okay sir," The DPO nodded and left.
"Daddy,i'm scared," Adebola said close to tears.
"Don't worry,I will let him get to you. C'mon,let's go home." Adebayo said.

"Hello,Adeleke Adebola speaking,"
"This is Mrs John,you haven't seen your daughter in a week. "
"I can't come out,someone's sending me threat letters,"
"How do I explain that to her?"
"Just tell her that I am busy,"
"She misses you. Her birthday is in two weeks,"
"I will figure it out,"
"Adebola tell your family, you need to,your daughter is not getting any younger,"
"I can't tell my family yet................."
"Tell us what?" Temilola asked. Adebola didn't know that her mum had entered her room.
"Mum,................er.........I ..........have........a........."
