Chapter 12

I woke up with the biggest smile on my face, I couldn't keep my mind off of Matt. Matt and I are hanging out today at the mall and the boardwalk.

I heard my phone vibrate. I unlocked my phone and I opened my messages.

Matt😌💜: Hey bæ, wanna go to the mall??

I smiled and I responded to Matt

Jenn: sure bæ come to my room at 12:45?😊

Matt:😌💜: sounds good see you soon

I put my phone on my bedside table, and I remembered the kiss, but I also remembered Hayes and I. I still have slight feelings for Hayes but he said we are just friends, to his other friends so I don't know why I should feel bad.

I got up and Hayes was on his phone. "Morning sunshine" Hayes smiled

"Morning." I smiled and I walked into the bathroom. I took a quick shower. When I finished my shower I blow dried my hair with the hair dryer and I curled the ends of my hair. I walked out of the bathroom and I went to my bedside tanks and I grabbed my phone and sat in the little office chair next to the hotel door.

"Where are you heading?" Hayes asks me looking at me up and down

"The mall." I said scrolling through twitter

"Alone? Can I come?" Hayes asked getting out of bed

"Um, I'm going with a friend" I smiled

"Who?" Hayes asked with anger in his voice

"Matt, is that a issue?" I asked

"Wait, are you guys dating what is going on??"

"No we're not, and if we were I don't know why it would concern you."

"Jenn, why are you doing this? Isn't it obvious we have feelings for each other?"

"Don't start Hayes." I said putting my phone on the desk

"Start what? That you just played around with my feelings?"

"I didn't play around with your feelings Hayes!! You said to your friends that I was just a friend, so clearly you obviously don't like me any more than a friend, therefore I've moved on."

"What? I meant like a friend!! I never meant like I don't like you!" Hayes said with his voice cracking

"Hayes, just give me some time."

There was a knock on the hotel door I opened it. "Hey Jenn ready?" Matt asked

"Yep!" I shut the door behind me and we walked down the hall into the elevators.

Hayes POV

She moved on?! Just friends?! Matt?!? My best friend?! I guess I've never told the guys that I truly liked Jenn so it's not matts fault but I had her first, and all the sudden she just loses interest in me?

I need Jenn back..

Jenn POV

Matt and I walked into the mall hand in hand, we were acting like best friends, we went to a T-shirt store and we bought matching galaxy bucket hats, then we went to a spray paint store and we got best friend t shirts. "Matt what will happen when I go back t North Carolina and you go back to your home town?"

Matt sighed

"Well, we can always keep in contact. We can FaceTime and talk on the phone and text." Matt smiled

I nodded and smiled

Matt and I continued to laugh and have fun just as friends. My phone kept vibrating and that kid Jordan kept texting me. I ignored his texts like always and Matt and I continued to walk. "Matt I'm going into Victoria's Secret." I smirked

"Um yeah, I'm going into the VANS store call me if you need anything."

"Thank you Matt" I smiled and we hugged quickly and I walked in.

I was in this store for about a half hour and I've been texting Matt, Hayes hasn't texted me since our little argument this morning. I guess Hayes still had feelings for me. My phone vibrated and I didn't expect a message from zack...

Zack: turn around babe😉

My eyes widened and I turned around slowly... The next thing that happened was I felt a wet cloth over my face and I blacked out.

"Your coming home with me honey."
