Another misunderstanding..

"Ch... Chul-soo ah... don't get it the wrong way..." Hee-joon stood up followed by Mi-yeon.
Chul-soo shook his head and looked at Mi-yeon.
"You said you two didn't have any relationship. But this,, explained everything.." Chul-soo said.
Hee-joon turned to Mi-yeon then to Chul-soo. Their reaction... just explained everything and Hee-joon was finally sure now. He hid his smirked.
'They liked each other..' He thought.
"Your highness, we..." Mi-yeon was about to say something but cut by Hee-joon.
"I like her."
"What??" Both Chul-soo and Mi-yeon turned to him.
"Mi-yeon was telling the truth, We didn't have any relationship. But i liked her.. and i mean it." Hee-joon beamed.
"What are you trying to say?" Chul-soo glared.
Then, Hee-joon grabbed Mi-yeon's hand and held it tightly.
"You heard me, we were nothing but I'm starting to love her... I wanted to protect her.." Hee-joon smiled.

"Hee-joon.." Mi-yeon whispered.
"Now let me ask you something, your highness..." Hee-joon continued.
"What is it?..." Chul-soo already clenching his fist.
"Why did you care?" Hee-joon asked.
Chul-soo just showed a confused expression.
"Why did you care if we were in a relationship or not? Did you perhaps..blike her too?" Hee-joon asked although he already knew the answer.
"Hee-joon, stop it." Mi-yeon tried to convince him. But he didn't listen. He just waited for Chul-soo's answer.
Chul-soo stared at Mi-yeon but didn't say anything. He really wanted to say 'yes'.
Hee-joon suddenly chuckled.
"I knew it.. it explained everything.. Now, it make sense.." Hee-joon smiled.
"I just wanted to remind you something. You're engaged, your highness.. with a beautiful yet gentle princess. Can't you be grateful enough for that. You can't like someone else..cause you'll just dump her soon." Hee-joon continued.

Chul-soo clenched his fist even tighter.
"I'm sorry for being rude, your highness. I'm giving you this advice as a friend. It's true that her grace wanted me to look over you. But, that wasn't the reason I'm saying this. To be honest, we all can agree that I have a better chance with Mi-yeon than you." Hee-joon said.
"We're friends aren't we.. will you listen to me..." Hee-joon tried to touch his shoulder but he moved right away.
"Hey, What took you so long to find us.." Chul-woo and Eun-mi suddenly came from the back.
"Err.. what happened? Did we missed something?" Eun-mi asked realising the tense between them.
Mi-yeon shook her head signalling them not to do anything.
Chul-soo glared at Hee-joon back.
"Are we? friends??" Chul-soo asked.
"Chul-soo ah..." Hee-joon finally dropped the formality.
"As far as I know, we're not... not anymore.. for me now, you're just a betrayer..." Chul-soo beamed and glanced at Mi-yeon before turning around making his way back.
He even bumped Chul-woo's shoulder hardly on his way.

Chul-woo and Eun-mi immediately looked at Mi-yeon hoping for an answer.
"Don't... ask me..." Mi-yeon raised her hands then turned to Hee-joon right after.
"Why? Why did you said that? I just coaxed him this morning and you ruined everything. How can I gain his trust back." Mi-yeon said lowering her voice at the last sentence.
Hee-joon just sighed heavily.
"Don't.. you don't need to get any closer with him anymore.." Hee-joon said.
Then, he grabbed Mi-yeon's arm and dragged her away from the other two.
Leaving those two clueless standing and looking at each other.
"Hee-joon stop!! What are you doing?" Mi-yeon struggled to free up herself.
Hee-joon finally freed her after walking far enough from other people.
"Why did you say that.. why does you need to lie? We almost..."

"I did not lie!!!" Hee-joon shouted immediately making Mi-yeon speechless.
"I... I really like you.." Hee-joon confessed.
Mi-yeon was quite startled. The place suddenly became quiet.
After a while of thinking, Mi-yeon spoke out again.
"Can... you stop talking nonsense.. we're still on our plan and we can't develop any feelings toward each other. I must talk to his highness now.." Mi-yeon was about to walk away but Hee-joon stopped her.
"What if I'm telling the truth?" Hee-joon asked.
"Then, let's just consider it as a 'no'.." Mi-yeon said.
"I can't do that.." Hee-joon beamed.
"Why can't? Hee-joon ssi please stop it, his highness will start to think that I'm playing with his feeling.." Mi-yeon sighed.
"So what? You care about his feeling? How about mine?? We don't need to use him anymore!!" Hee-joon raised his voice a little.
"I'm not using him... I..." Mi-yeon didn't continue her sentence.
