"How many time had I told you to stay close to me!! You're still not used to this new environment. Stubborn kid!!" Sang-chul nagged her.
"I'm sorry.. I'm just curious about this place. It was big, anyone could get lost in here, not just me.." Mi-yeon said.
"I don't know why appa wants me to bring you here. Even ask to find you a job. You're so clumsy that you can even ruined the whole palace." Sang-chul complain.
"It was because appa wanted me to stand on my own feet and become responsible. Beside, I don't want to burden you anymore." Mi-yeon said proudly.

Sang-chul just sighed heavily.
"I don't know how long you can even stand staying here. I bet on the first day of work, you'll come and beg me to bring you home." Sang-chul shook his head in frustrated.
"Don't worry.. I'll be good here... Come on, show me the palace maid's chief.I can't wait." Mi-yeon said excitedly.
"Okay2, be patient... Follow me.." Sang-chul then lead the way.
They walked until the reach a 'hanok'.

Sang-chul greeted a woman who just came out.
They bowed to each other politely.
'Since when did he became this polite?' Mi-yeon thought.
Sang-chul elbowed her arm signing her to bow to. Mi-yeon who just snapped back into reality quickly followed his order.
"This is the girl I told you. Please teach her well and take good care of her." Sang-chul said.
The woman smiled and turned to Mi-yeon. Somehow, she felt nervous being stared by someone.

She's just an average girl who barely meets any people or even nearly never meets anyone in her life except Park Sang-chul and his family, whom she thought as her own family.
She is still not used to being surrounded by people.
She tried so hard to act normal around people. But in fact, she was scared.
Some kind of like a phobia but it's not. She is just scared.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Yoo Ga-in. The chief of the palace maid. I'll take you from here." She introduced herself.
"Ow..err...n..nice to..meet you too... My name is.. Yoon Mi-yeon.. Please take good care of me.." She said nervously.
"Ok In-hye!!!" Ga-in called.
A few seconds later, a girl came to them and bowed, secretly stealing a glance at Sang-chul and smiled. But, Sang-chul just lowered his head.
"This is Yoon Mi-yeon, our new maid. Please bring her in." Ga-in ordered.
"Yes, ma'am.." She replied and help Mi-yeon carried her bag.

"And admiral Sang-chul, don't worry.. we'll take good care of her. She'll be fine here. You may go now. I assumed you might have a lot of work to do aside from this." Ga-in said.
"Yes, I'll go now.." He nodded and bowed. "As for you, don't cause any trouble... please.." He said to Mi-yeon.
She just replied with a smile.
"Oh... before I forgot..." Mi-yeon spoke out before Sang-chul could step away.
He turned to her and signing 'what' look.
Instead of answering, Mi-yeon ran to hug him making him stumbled a little.

"Yah,, this is not at home anymore. Watch your attitude." Sang-chul said pulling away.
"Oopps... sorry..." She apologised in a lowered tone.
"I'll get going now." Sang-chul excused himself and about to leave again.
"Oh wait!!!" Mi-yeon called once again making him frowned.
"What is it? Again?" Sang-chul asked annoying.
"Where's my necklace? Did you saw it anywhere?" Mi-yeon asked a bit panicked since it was important to her.
"Where did you put it?" Sang-chul asked.
"I always wear it. But I just realized it wasn't on me anymore." She searched on her neck properly.

"I... I think it might dropped when I accidentally bumped into that guy." She said.
"Which guy? Ugh... just forget it.. you're so clumsy.. just get inside...I'll try to find it later." Sang-chul said to make sure she doesn't panic.
"Emm.. okay... please find it.. you know it was important to me." She finally get in with In-hye.
"I guess you were so closed to her." Ga-in said.
"Yes, i guess so. She's just like my own sister."
"Don't worry. I'll make sure to treat her well here."
He nodded and bowed before finally leaving.

'Was it her? If she was, I'll treat her well, Joohyun... ' Ga-in thought.

"Both of you were so closed,right?" In-hye asked Mi-yeon while helping her packing.
"Of course. We known each other since we were born." Mi-yeon said.
"Lucky for you..." In-hye praised.
"Why?"
"Well, at least you had someone to rely on." In-hye replied.
"Don't you have?" Mi-yeon asked naively.
In-hye just shook her head.
"I'm sorry..." Mi-yeon apologised.
"No2... it's okay.. I'm used to it now.. Chief Ga-in took care of me well." In-hye beamed.
"I'm sure she must be a nice person although she seemed cold." Mi-yeon said.
"Yes, she is..." In-hye smiled.

"In-hye ah... where had you been??? I have been waiting for you for too long in the kitchen!!" Another girl suddenly popped out of nowhere and nagged.
But then she realised Mi-yeon was there.
"Sorry, I forgot to tell you.. ma'am want me to settle up this new girl for work." In-hye apologised.
"Ouh... new girl huh..." She stared at Mi-yeon up and down.
"Oh.. this is Yoon Mi-yeon, admiral Sang-chul's... family." She introduced.
"Oh.. so you're the girl..." She stared at her again making Mi-yeon more nervous and uncomfortable.

In-hye doesn't say anything but continued packing. While the girl leaned closer to get a better view of Mi-yeon.
This girl suddenly snapped her finger right in front of Mi-yeon face and smiled like a crazy person.
The early cold and scary face turned bright as sun.
"I like her!!" She shouted.
"W...what??" Mi-yeon still confused.
"Yoon Mi-yeon right? Nice to meet you, I'm Choi Eun-mi.. your best friend!!" Eun-mi took her hand and shook it.
'Best friend? Already? She just knew my name and introduced herself after scared me.' Mi-yeon thought, but shook her hand anyway.

"Don't mind her.. She's weird! Eun-mi is kind of a bit... over the limit... but don't worry, she's actually nice." In-hye said while still packing.
"Yah! You're saying I'm crazy?." Eun-mi asked.
"No, I'm not..." In-hye cooly said.
This is really a new beginning for Mi-yeon. While the two were arguing, Mi-yeon just laughed and can't wait to work there. She's so excited.
