"Your highness.. I've heard about Mi-yeon, Is she fine?" Hee-joon came.
"Why do you care?" Chul-soo answered coldly.
"Chul-soo ah.." Hee-joon sighed.
"She's fine.. hopefully..." Sang-chul interrupted to make sure they didn't cause any scene.
"Okay..." Hee-joon glanced at Chul-soo who didn't even look at him.
"Chul-soo... I mean, your highness.. if you're still mad about that da..."
"Yes i'm still mad!! I mean, who wouldn't?." Chul-soo cut before Hee-joon could end his sentence.
"And I'm also disappointed. If it wasn't because of you, Mi-yeon wouldn't be hurt now, if it wasn't because of you..." Chul-soo gulped before finishing his sentence.
"Se-kyung would still be alive by now..." He blamed Hee-joon."Your highness, I'm truly sorry.. if i knew this would happen..."
"No one knows what'll happen in the future. It's just us that need to try to make things right.. that's what you always told me.." Hee-joon's sentence was cut by Chul-soo again.
"Hee-joon ah, you know what, Sekyung never imagined marrying me. She wanted a peaceful life... she wanted to travel and see new things. Spending her youth time in a very beautiful way. But now, she never would have made it. I must admit it was also my fault.. I never think first before making any decision." Chul-soo beamed.
"I had Learned through my mistake.. but I'm not sure if I'll be able to forgive you now... I mean, you don't even care about others. You just think of yourself. As if it never happened to you." Chul-soo said.
Sang-chul and Tae-woo who were still there just lowered their head, not wanting to interrupt them."I know i did wrong.. please give me time to fix myself.. I'm sorry.." Hee-joon apologised.
"Hee-joon, I... I don't know.. at first, I was actually never angry with you.. I just want you to be happy and I cared about you.. but now I feel it.. I'm wrong.. I... huh.. I couldn't even think straightly now." Chul-soo sighed and leaning his back on the wall rubbing his face.
They all became quiet. No one dare to speak.
Then, the royal psysician came out. They all quickly gathered around him except Hee-joon. He still felt blamed. But somehow he didn't actually regret it.
"How is she? Is she fine?" Chul-soo asked.
"I think the sword that was used to stab her, was poisoned.." The psysician answered.
"What? So, how's she now? She's fine right?" Sang-chul asked.
"She could have gotten the tetanus which is dangerous. Fortunately, you bring her right on time. It would be hard to save her if you were just a little late. She's fine now, but still unconscious. I'm not sure if she'll wake up anytime soon.." He said."Huh.. thank you so much..." Chul-soo thanked the psysician and sighed heavily.
"Sang-chul ssi..." Eun-mi, Chul-woo, Chun-hwa and In-hye came.
"Your highness.." They bowed once they realised Chul-soo was also there.
"I'm sorry we're late, we just heard about her.. is she okay?" In-hye asked.
"She's still unconscious but she's fine.." Sang-chul said.
"Huh.. I'm glad to hear that.. we were so worried." Chun-hwa spoke out.
"I thought she would be in the infirmacy.. why in hyung's room though?" Chul-woo asked.Chul-soo glanced at Hee-joon.
"Just in case..." He replied shortly then entered his room to see Mi-yeon.
Everyone didn't say anything. They already knew there must be something and they shouldn't ask further more.Chul-soo stood beside Mi-yeon's weak body laying on his bed.
He just stared at her deeply, regretting his own decision. If he didn't agree to marry Se-kyung, all this mess wouldn't have happened.
"Mi-yeon ssi.." He slowly sat beside her and took her hand.
"I'm sorry I couldn't protect you as Sekyung wished." He said.
"You may hate me, but please.. open your eyes.. wake up from your dream now.." He's started to tear up.
"Don't leave me like how Sekyung did..." He cried."Remember the last time we were at the waterfall... I threatened to leave you alone and said I hope you'll die before me... I actually didn't mean it.. I didn't mean it at all.." He tried so hard to hold his tears and faked a smile.
"I don't want you leave first.." He whispered.
"Please stay... and I promised to take care of you.." He continued. His tear even dripped on Mi-yeon's white skin.
"I didn't like you.. not at all... I just... love you.. a lot." He confessed though he already knew Mi-yeon wouldn't hear it.
"I love you so much Yoon Mi-yeon. so please.. wake up..." He beamed before kissing her hand while still in tears.
