"You're a natural," Finn said with a laugh, clicking through all the pictures that the photographer had taken of Ronnie. She had changed into some extra clothes when the boy had offered her up for a photoshoot. So, Finn, Veronica, and the photographer, Beck, took pictures everywhere in Barcelona. They saw more of the city in a couple of hours than Ronnie had seen with Sage in a week. The beautiful sights were an incredible distraction from the melancholy of the day's earlier events.

"Thanks," Veronica said, blushing at the compliment. Even Beck had agreed with Finn— she seemed to be made for modeling.

"Hey, kid. If you really wanted to, I could talk to someone about you. Get you a deal maybe. You're good," Beck said. Veronica's eyes widened in what Finn thought was excitement. Instead, she shook her head.

"Oh no, sir. I can't do anything like that. Thank you, though," she spewed out quickly. Beck nodded with a facial expression that seemed to show understanding and ridicule at the same time. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a black card.

"Well, the industry could use someone like you. Give me a call if you change your mind and I could pull some strings. Finn, it was good seeing you again. Just make sure to remember to text your mom where you are. You know what happened last time." With a wave, Beck walked away from the two, leaving them by themselves. Finn looked at Veronica curiously, tilting his head.

"You know, I'm surprised you didn't jump at the chance to be a model," he said. Veronica smiled and insistently shook her head.

"It would be nice, but I can't do it. It's just... I can't." She began to walk down the street and Finn tried to keep up.

"Hey, are you okay?" His question was blown off by a quick nod of Ronnie's head. Finn rolled his eyes and gestured to the now black sky above.

"Ronnie, c'mon, it's getting late. Look, I didn't mean to upset you—"

"Oh, look-ie! A coffee shop," Veronica interrupted, smiling at the coffee shaped sign above them. She pushed the door open and began to talk to one of the workers in Spanish before they were taken back outside and showed their table. The iron chairs creaked as Finn sat down. He stared in amazement at Veronica as she opened her menu.

"You know Spanish?" Veronica laughed at his shocked face.

"Yeah, I do. But it's not like the Spanish they speak here. Different dialect, I suppose," she said, turning her focus onto the menu. Finn did the same, only to see that it was all in Spanish.

"Hey, Ronnie..." Veronica glanced up to see the confused look on his face. Her eyes filled with humor and she placed her face into her hands, beaming at him.
