Vegeta's P.O.V

She meets my gaze, and I flinch back. What I see before me is someone new. Her vibrant eyes are now flat and dead looking. Her face is emotionless. Although her eyes are meeting mine, I'm not what she is seeing. She just stares, a deadness to her gaze.

"He's dead." She whispers so softly that I barely hear her. Her voice contains no emotion.

"Who is?"

"My brother."

A jolt goes through me. Oh no. No wonder she's like this. I grab her small and slender hands into mine.

"How'd it happen?" I ask her gently. She looks at me, and her eye hold unshed tears.

"He got hit by a car."

"Genesis, I would say sorry, but that doesn't change the fact that he's gone and that you miss him. So instead, I'll comfort you and try to make the pain hurt just a little less."

Then I pull her into a hug. She presses her face against my chest, her tears falling as she grieves. I place my chin on top of her head. My arms tighten around her, letting her know that I'm here for her. Then an idea pops into my head as I suddenly remember something. I take my chin off her head and look down at her.

"Genesis, I know just what to do to make you happy."

She looks up at me, big fat tears rolling down her cheeks and sniffles.

"What?"

I grin.

"We can use the Dragon Balls to bring your brother back to life."

A look of joy appears on her face at those words.

"You're right!"

She jumps up, bringing me up with her since I was still holding her. I let go of her.

"Lets go talk to Bulma!" She exclaims excitedly. She runs over to the doors and walks into the hallway. I quickly walk over to her. She suddenly stops and turns to me.

"What is it?"

"We need to change our clothes."

Remembering I'm just in sweats, I agree with her. She goes to her room and I go to mine. After I get changed into my usual outfit, I leave my room and find Genesis wearing a pink T- shirt, Jean shorts and black flats.

"All right, lets go." She says.

And so we go to Bulma's lab. We find Bulma working on something. She looks up from what she's working on and smiles when she sees us.

"Hey guys, what-"

She stops when she looks at Genesis. Jumping up, a concerned look takes over her face.

"What's wrong Genesis? Why were you crying?"

Genesis stays silent for a couple of seconds, then sighs.

"Yuri was killed."

Bulma, with a look of horror, covered her mouth.

"Genesis, I'm so sorry!"

"We came for the the Dragon radar, Woman."

She glares at me.

"I have a name, you jerk."

I smirk at her.

"I know. I just don't like it."

Her face starts to turn red with anger.

"You know what, I don't like yours either. It's the name of a loser Prince who couldn't even keep his people safe!" She spats. Her eyes widen as she realizes what she said. My anger surges over and takes control. Glaring at her with hate, I curl my lip back in disgust.

"Don't you ever talk about that again. Otherwise you will die. Don't think I won't hesitate to snap your scrawny neck in half."

Her eyes wide with fear, she goes pale and trembles.

"Vegeta, I'm sorry. That was crossing the line."

Crossing my arms, I turn my back to her.

"Just don't forget what said."

I feel a familiar hand on my arm. I look at Genesis. Her eyes are filled with concern.

"Are you all right?"

"Yeah. Fine."

My anger is still in control, so I'm trying not to say anything I might regret. Sighing, I look over at Bulma.

"Do you have the Dragon radar?"

She nods. "Yes."

"Then go get it."

Without a word, she goes to her desk and opens one of the drawers. She pulls out the Dragon radar and closes the drawer. She hands it to me. She then looks at Genesis.

"I'll tell Goku and the others to help you, all right?"

I scoff.

"We don't need that clown or any of those idiots he hangs around."

Genesis playfully smacks my arm.

"Be nice, Vegeta."

I roll my eyes at her, my cheeks slightly pink. She then grins at me.

"Come on, Vegeta! Lets get this started!"

She then grabs my hand and starts running, dragging me to who knows where.
