Vegeta x Genesis

Chapter 23

Vegeta's P.O.V

Going inside, I notice it looks exactly like the first one. Guess they didn't want to change anything. Genesis lets go of my hand and smiles at me.

"Ta-da! Your brand new, unbroken gravity room!"

I chuckle at her. She's just too much. She then giggles and skips to the door.

"I'll see you at the party, Vegeta."

I nod, feeling like I'll say something stupid by accident. Turning, I go and change the gravity of the room to Earth's gravity times 500. Some of the Woman's bots come out and I try to blast them. They shoot blasts at me and I can't dodge them.

       *** Time skip: 5:00 pm ***

Stepping out of the gravity room, I walk to my room and grab my swimming trunks and tank top, then I head to the bathroom for a shower. Throwing my sweaty and dirty clothes to the side, I get in the shower, the cold water hitting my skin instantly. Sighing in relief, I let the water run over my face.

     *** 10 minute Time skip ***

Opening the bathroom door, I walk out in my swimming trunks and dark blue tank top. I go to my my room and throw my clothes on my bed. Sighing, my thoughts begin to wander to Genesis. Her infectious giggle. How her cheeks go red with embarrassment. Her light up a room smile. Her gorgeous moss green eyes. A knock suddenly interrupts my thoughts about Genesis.

"Who is it?" I ask gruffly.

"It's Bulma." The muffled reply comes. I sigh. Great. What now?

"What do you want?"

"Just thought I'd let you know that the party has started."

"All right. You can go now."

"Okay."

After a couple of seconds, I go to my door and it slides open to reveal... no one. I leave my room and make my way to the backyard. Kakarot, his wife, and brat are already here. He sees me, grins, and waves like an idiot. I roll my eyes. Freakin' clown. I also notice that Baldy and Yamcha, plus the floating cat, is here already as well. Bulma, wearing a blue bikini, or so I've been told it's called, comes over to me with a drink in her hand.

"Genesis is getting her bathing suit on."

"But she had it on earlier."

"She has to go out to buy something, so she changed into regular clothes."

"All right."

Taking my hint for her to go, she goes over to Yamcha. A couple of minutes later, the doors swish open and I look over to see Genesis wearing a big pink T- shirt that reaches to her knees. She sees me and walks over to me. She has a shy smile on her lips.

"Are you going to swim, Vegeta?"

I look over at the pool, then sigh. I cross my arms.

"Yeah, since I told you we would go swimming."

She lets out a squeal of excitement.

"This is going to be fun!" She exclaims.

She then runs over to Yamcha and the others. She turns around and motions for me to join them.

"Come on, Vegeta!"

Sighing, I walk over to them, feeling butterflies in my stomach when she smiles at me. When I get to them they stop talking. Baldy coughs uncomfortably.

"W-well, how are you liking Earth, Vegeta?"

"It's not too bad." I reply gruffly.

Baldy just laughs.

"You haven't seen anything yet. Just wait."

I scoff.

"What is there to see?"

Baldy smiles.

"Plenty."

"If you say so."

"Trust me."

A loud shout causes all of us to look over at the door. A woman with blonde hair and a mean look in her eyes is standing there. Everyone else looks at her with shock. I'm confused. Who the hell is this woman? Genesis lets out a squeal and runs over to the blonde, tackling her in a hug. The blonde lets out a grunt from the force.

"Launch, it's been forever! Where have you been?"

So her name is Launch. She chuckles.

"I've just been chasing after Tien."

Genesis giggles.

"Of course you have. Well you've come just in time for our pool party!"

Launch chuckles.

"Good thing I always have a bikini on hand, then."

She looks over Genesis's shoulder, and our eyes meet.

What did you guys think? Did you like that I brought Launch back into the picture? I feel that they should bring her back. She was an awesome character. I loved her kick ass side and her sweet side. They should just bring her back in general. What do you think is going to happen with her and Vegeta? Welp, find out... in chapter 24!
