Chapter 18

Vegeta's P.O.V

Watching Genesis chat with Bulma, I cross my arms when Yuri coughs to get my attention. Looking over at him, I scowl.

"What do you want, Yuri?" I ask gruffly.

Glaring at me, he clenches his fists as he scowled at me. I turn and face him, both of us in a little showdown. 

"It's about Genesis."

My patience wearing, I growl warningly.

"Spit it out, all ready!"

His glare gets even fiercer. He steps towards me threateningly. Tch. Like that scared me. I smirk at him.

"If you're trying to intimidate, you're not doing a good job."

He doesn't reply to that, only glares at me and clenched his fist.

"Genesis likes you. I can tell. But I don't like nor do I approve of you. She could do better. A lot better. I don't know why she's always attracted to dick heads. You're not good enough for Genesis. Genesis is a gentle soul, and so she can get her heart broken quite easily. Knowing your type, you probably don't feel anything for her. Don't lead her on or anything. Otherwise I will kill you in your sleep. Don't think I won't."

Not only did he insult me by saying I'm not good enough, he also assumes that I would lead her on! How dare he! Trembling with fury, I grab him by his collar and get in his face, all of my fury clear on my face. His eyes widen with surprise.

"Don't you ever say that I'm not good enough, 'Cause I know I am. And secondly, how dare you even suggest that I would lead Genesis on! Only a monster would do that. And since you don't know me, how about you shut your damn mouth shut and your opinion to yourself? Next time you say anything like what you just said about Genesis, I will make damn sure that I'm personally the reason you're dead again." I spat. Shoving him, I give him a death glare.

Turning my back to him, I take a couple of steps, then stop. I look over my shoulder and at him.

"Oh, and about my feelings for Genesis, you couldn't be more wrong."

Seeing the shocked expression on his face, I continue walking over to Genesis and the others.
