Vegeta x Genesis

Chapter 33

Vegeta's P.O.V

Genesis smiles and looks back up at the stars. She sighs dreamily.

"What's it like to be amongst the stars, Vegeta?"

I stop to think about it. Huh. I never really did think about it before. Looking back now, I realize how beautiful it was up in space, surrounded by millions of stars.

"It was beautiful, now that I think about it."

"I bet it is."

She lets out a yawn and rubs her eyes.

"Tired?"

She nods.

"Yeah."

"Why don't we head back to Capsule Corp?"

She lets out another yawn and nods.

"Okay."

I scoop her up in my arms and float back down to the ground. People look at me in shock. I sit her down and she grabs her giant stuffed panda. I scoop her up and start to fly. Her head soon lolls back and she ends up snuggling with her giant teddy bear.

*** 10 minute Time skip ***

I set down on the front yard of Capsule Corp and make my way to the door. I open it and quietly close it with my foot. I walk down the hallway and to her room. The doors slide open and I walk into her room. Making my way to her bed, I get the stuffed animal out of her arms and set it next to the bed. I balance her on my hip and pull back the sheets and covers. I gently lay her down on the bed. I tenderly slip off her shoes and set them down. I pull the sheets and covers over her and stop at her shoulders. Standing up, I gaze at her peaceful little face. A desire inside taking control, I lean down and push her bangs to the side, pressing my lips to her forehead. I stay there for a couple of seconds, then I pull away. Sighing, I softly smile to myself.

"Sweet dreams, Genesis." I whisper softly. I then tiptoe out of the room and to my room. Pulling the T-shirt over my head, I toss it to the side. I take off my shoes and socks. I pull off my jeans and toss them over to my shirt. I go over to my dresser and pull out a pair of black sweats. I pull on the sweats and walk over to my bed. Crawling into bed, I turn the lights off and pull the covers up. Soon sleep descends upon  me.
