Chapter 29

Genesis's P.O.V

Sighing, I watch Bulma yell at Vegeta's retreating back. We all are supposed to go to the fair today, but with Bulma hung over.....

"Bulma."

She stops her yelling and looks at me.

"Yeah?"

"Are you still going to the fair with everyone?"

She grins at me.

"Hell yeah!"

I smile at the thoughts of the plans we have made.

"I'll go tell Vegeta when we are going so he can be ready."

I start for the gravity room, but Bulma stops me. She shakes her head vigorously.

"Don't! He doesn't know, and we all want to keep it that way."

"Why?"

"Because! He'll just ruin our fun."

"Even so, we can't just not invite him."

Bulma sighs, then shrugs.

"Fine, but if he ruins our fun, you'll be getting an earful from me."

I nod. "Okay."

She lets go and I leave her and the kitchen behind. I head to the gravity room. I hesitantly knock on the door. After a minute, it opens to reveal Vegeta shirtless and sweaty. A scowl is on his face. A blush rises to my face.

"What do you want? If it's for training, I can't do that today, Okay?"

I shake my head.

"It's not for training. It's for something else."

He arches an eyebrow.

"Well? What is it?"

"All of us are going to the fair, and I was wondering if you would like to join us."

"I have to train. So I can show once and for all that I am the best."

"But it would be for one day. Besides, it's the perfect time to see what Earth has to offer."

He sighs.

"All right."

I smile at him happily.

"Okay. We leave at 10:00 am."

"Wait."

"What?"

"Don't you have work today?"

I shake my head.

"No. I called my boss and he said it was alright."

He just nods. Then I turn around and leave for my room.

      *** Time skip: 10:00 am ***

Everything I planned on taking in my cross body bag, I rush to change. I grab a white Capsule Corp. shirt and light blue overalls and change into them. I slip on some white sandals. I grab my cross body bag and put it on. I leave my room and head to the living room. Bulma is already there, wearing a tight, form fitting black shirt and short shorts along with sandals. She smiles at me when I walk in and sit by her on the couch. I notice that Vegeta isn't in here.

"Where's Vegeta?"

Bulma sighs angrily.

"Where do you expect? The gravity room, I bet."

"That's where you're wrong." He interrupts. We both look at him, to see a frown on his lips. He's wearing a  dark blue T- shirt and jeans with sneakers. He has his arms crossed.

"So when are we going?"

Bulma checks her watch.

"Now."

Then she stands up and walks out the front door, keys in hand. I head for the door and Vegeta follows. We all go over to her car. Vegeta scoffs.

"Why take that hunk of metal when I'm way faster?"

Bulma glares at him.

"Fine! Fly if you want!"

I grab the backseat door handle, and Bulma looks at me funny.

"Why are you going to the back?"

"In case Vegeta rides with us and can have shotgun."

Bulma shakes her head.

"No, he can sit in the back while my bestie sits up front with me."

I shake my head.

"No, let him sit up front if he's going to ride with us."

Vegeta sighs.

"Let me solve the problem."

He grabs me and drags me to the passenger side and opens the door. He sits down and sits me on his lap. I turn crimson.

"There. Problem solved. I sit up front and so does she."

Bulma waggled her eyebrows at us.

"Ooh, damn Vegeta. Taking advantage of the situation, I see."

He starts to blush.

"N-no!"

Bulma laughs.

"Uh huh. You like having Genesis sit on your lap. Admit it!"

"N-no!"

Bulma smirks at us. She just "uh huh"s in disbelief. She goes to the driver's side and gets in, closing the door once she sits down.

"Buckle up!"

I click our seatbelt in. Vegeta scoffs. His face is slightly pressed into my hair.

"You don't need a seatbelt since you have me." He softly mumbles. I don't think I heard him, so I don't say anything. But I do blush at that. Bulma turns on the radio and blasts it. I hear Vegeta softly hiss in annoyance. Here we go.

I hope this makes up for chapter 28 being short! So what do you guys think? Do you like that I changed it to Genesis's point of view for once? I thought it was interesting. So what will happen at the fair? Find out... in chapter 30!! * insert fangirl scream *
We've done it! We've gotten to chapter 30! I'm so proud of myself for getting this far. Yay me! 😀
