Vegeta x Genesis

Chapter 7

Vegeta, in his room, is doing one finger push ups when a scream comes from Genesis's room. He jumps up and goes to her room, concerned for her safety. When he walks in, he sees her writhing in the bed, tears streaming down her face. He goes over to her and shakes Her with care, knowing that he could accidentally kill her.

"Genesis. Genesis, wake up."

She suddenly sits up, breathing hard and looking around in fear. She meets Vegeta's eyes. He looks at her with concern.

"Hey, are you okay?"

With a panicked look in her eyes, she grabs his face, turning his head as she searches for any wounds. Satisfied with that search, she checks his arms for wounds. He grabs her shoulders.

"Hey, look at me."
She stops what she's doing and looks at him.

"I'm all right. Okay?"

She nods.

"So what happened?"

"I had a nightmare.", she tells him timidly. He could tell it was a really bad one.

"What happened in your nightmare?", he asks her gently. And so, with some reassurance from Vegeta, she told him everything that happened in her dream. Thinking about it causes the fear she felt in the nightmare rise again and she starts crying. She wraps her arms around Vegeta's neck and presses her face into his chest.

"I was so scared!" She sobs. He wraps his arms around her tightly and protectively.

"I-it's Okay. It wasn't real. Besides, I wouldn't let it get that bad. It's all right. I got you."

His arms tighten around her when he feels her delicate body trembling with fear.

"I was so scared for you," she sobs.

"You shouldn't have been. I'm okay. I'm fine."

After a while he finally calms her down. Standing up, Vegeta looks down at her with concern.
"You going to be fine?"

She nods.

"I just won't go back to sleep."

"Why is that?"

"Because I'm scared I'll have the dream again."

"Do you want to sleep in my room? That way I'll be there to wake you up in case do have the dream again. Okay?"

She nods.

He scoops her up in his arms tenderly.

"Oh, wait! Can I get my pajamas?"

"Yeah."

He sets her down and she goes to her dresser. Opening a drawer, she pulls out a short pair of black and red plaid shorts and a black tank top. He turns around to give her privacy, slightly blushing at the thought of seeing her undress.

"Okay."
He turns around and starts blushing, his jaw almost dropping. Her black tank top was form fitting, and was a little low in the front, giving him a little preview of her breasts. Her shorts showed off her legs. She was oblivious to this, only choosing these pajamas because they were super comfortable and kept her from getting hot. She was also oblivious to the fact that what she was wearing was making Vegeta have naughty thoughts about her. He started to blush at these thoughts.

He coughs. "A-all right, lets go."

He goes over to her and scoops her up. He quickly gets to his room, feeling like Bulma will randomly show up and tease them. He gets to his bed in a couple of strides and sets her down.

"I'm going to do some push ups for a while, Okay?"

She nods. He goes a few feet away from the bed and gets down, resuming his one finger push ups.

"Vegeta? Thank you.", she sleepily murmurs.

"Your welcome.", he softly whispers, but she was already asleep.
