Vegeta x Genesis

Chapter 16

Vegeta's P.O.V

Noticing the blush on Genesis's cheeks when our fingertips brush, I slightly grin while blushing. Looking down at the device in my hand, I mentally shake my head at my stupidity.  Walking ahead, I look back at her.

"Are you coming?"

She nods. "Yeah."

She quickly scurries over to me, trying not to get left behind. As if I would even think of leaving her behind. Every few seconds my eyes would go to the Dragon radar.
    
*** Time skip: 30 minutes ***

We come upon a lonely palm tree. The radar says it's here. It must be in the tree. I lightly kick the tree, and it falls over, and a couple of coconuts fall and so does the Dragon Ball. I scoop it up and notice that it's the four star. I turn to face Genesis, only to find her missing! I look around, trying to find her.

"Genesis!" I bellow loudly. A loud scream breaks the silence. I rush towards it and stumble upon Genesis being cornered by a wild animal. I kick it, sending it flying. Genesis rushes over to me and tackles me into a hug.

"Thank you so much, Vegeta!"

"No problem."

Wrapping my arms around her waist, I hold her tightly and begin flying. She snuggles closer to me, and I let out my kai, giving off more energy and warming her up.

"Thank you." She mumbles against my chest.

"No problem."

*** Time skip: 1 hour 30 min.***

Landing on the yard in front of Capsule Corp., I gently set Genesis down. She smiles at me appreciatively.

"Thank you for doing this, Vegeta."

Seeing how appreciatively she is looking at me, I turn my head as my cheeks start to turn red.

"It was nothing."

She then hugs me, burying her face into my chest.

"It was everything to me." She mumbled against my chest. Feeling butterflies in my stomach, and heat rising to my cheeks, I make sure no one can see us, then wrap my arms around her.

She lets go, a big grin on her face.

"Lets go see if the others are here!"

"Fine."

She then grabs my hand and drags me inside, where we find everyone else to be. The tall Baldy smirks at me.

"Looks like the Prince finally showed up. Took you long enough."

Crossing my arms, I glare at him. How dare he mock me! I am Prince Vegeta. No one talks to me like that.

"Oh look, it's one of the strong Z fighters. Oh wait, never mind, my mistake. I thought you were someone who was actually worth my time. My bad." I sneer at him.

A look of anger pops up on his face. Now who's smirking? That would be me. Yamcha puts a hand on his shoulder.

"Just leave it at that. Besides, we have all of the Dragon Balls, so let's get to wishin'."

The blue haired annoyance steps into the conversation, making things worse.

"Well we would already have Yuri back if Vegeta wasn't always a huge jerk."

I glare at her. She's trying to blame this on me? Oh hell no. I open my mouth to say something to her, but Genesis beats me to it.

"How dare you blame Vegeta, Bulma! Tien was the one to start it when he made that smart remark to Vegeta. You both need to apologize to him right now."

Crossing her arms, she slightly tilts her chin, daring them to not do what she told them to. Bulma, blushing, comes up to me.

"I'm sorry, Vegeta."

Tall Baldy crosses his arms and looks away.

"Sorry, Vegeta."

I scoff , not caring about their stupid apologies. The only thing I was thinking about was how Genesis stood up for me. While it kind of hurts my pride that I didn't do it myself, her standing up for me made it worth any damage to my pride. I walk away from them and go to the backyard. The others also go outside, Dragon Balls in hand. Genesis comes over to me, a smile on her face.

"It's going to happen, Vegeta. I'm going to get my brother back!"

I softly smile at her.

"Yes, you are."

Then they put the Dragon Balls together, and Kakarot says the summoning words. The sky goes dark. A golden light begins to emit from the Dragon Balls. With a flash, Shenron appears. I see Genesis look upon Shenron with a hint of awe in her eyes. Why should she look upon the Dragon with awe? I scoff. I could easily kill him if I wanted to.

"What is your first wish?"

Kakarot looks at Genesis. With a nervous look on her face, she quietly goes and stands beside Kakarot.

"I wish for my brother Yuri to be brought back to life."

"Your wish is granted."

A golden flash envelopes us all, and a figure is now standing in front of Shenron. He's Kakarot's height, silver straight hair, pale skin, icy blue eyes, and is slender. He looks nothing like Genesis. I look at her and see a look of pure joy.

"Yuri!"

She rushes at him and tackles him into a hug. So that's her brother, huh.
