Chapter 5

Sitting at home thinking about all that has happened and I just thought of something. I haven't updated Mandy on the latest events. I called her and she answered right on time.

"Hello wassup chic?"

"What ain't up is the question." Jalisha said sarcastically.

"Oh Lawd what done happened now?"

"Well let's start with Alonzo. He still gives Melissa all this damn attention after 10 years. The deal was when she woke up we will send Kwan back to her. Well he's made that perfectly clear that he is staying with us."

"Melissa is not fighting against this decision?"

"Hell nah. She is ok with it. But here's the catch. He has hired Amy from the job to be her round the clock nurse when he's not there."

"What you mean when he's not there?"

"Girl he flies over there every free second he gets."

"Wait what?" Mandy asked.

"He goes over there everyday all day sometimes. He even got Amira calling her Mama Melissa."

"Wait! Hold on one second. You mean to tell me your daughter is calling her Mama?"

"Yeah and I told her she better not call her that in my presence again. I'm your only mama." Jalisha vented.

"Wow. I'm so sorry friend. I thought after these years you would have a better feel with this."

"I did too but apparently not. But that's not the best part."

"Damn girl there's more?"

"Yes. Was you at the banquet last night?"

"No. I couldn't make it. What happened?"

"Girl guess who's out of jail?"

"Please don't tell me Jason crazy ass?"

"Yes Jason is out. He found us there and approached the table."

"Really? And said what?" She asked with concern.

"He said he was gonna get pay back on all of us who made him suffer those 10 years and he told Kwan he was his daddy."

"Omg are you serious?"

"Yes as a heart attack."

"Omg what happened?"

"Of coarse Alonzo tried to save the day. Kwan ran out in tears he ran after him. When we got outside he was all on his knees crying and telling him that he was his daddy no matter what the blood test proved. He raised him and in his eyes he is ours."

"Wow that was a hard blow." Mandy said shocked at the news.

"Yeah only to me though."

"Wow that's terrifying even to me."

"Right. So now I'm afraid for my baby life and mine too." Jalisha said.
